It was our pleasure to stay in this guest house. We enjoyed everything - starting from perfect location, hospitality and finally the price for it. We would definitely recommend this guest to everyone.

Great location and a cozy and clean place. The staff was always very helpfull and willing to tell us where to go, answering all of our questions. We were so laid back that we forgot we had to leave!! Sorry about the confusion, and thank you Holly and Simon for letting us stay!

It was my first time in Cape Town and I could've not asked for a better place to stay. Very cozy and welcoming, great staff and perfect location. The city center and the waterfront are within the walking distance and the table mount is just a few minute drive away. There is a food and liquor store and a variety...

We visit them once a year and they never disappoint, every room has a en-suite bathroom and the layout of the rooms are just perfect. Whenever I go to Cape Town this is where I will stay every time. Thank you so much for having us...

I am a regular visitor to Cape Town. House on the Hill is well placed in a quiet side street but close to the main road, in Greenpoint, providing links to the city centre, waterfront and the beaches of Camps bay. New public buses along this road now go all the way to Hout Bay too. The staff were super...

We stayed here for 3 nights, we had two rooms for 5 people. It's a great location near the football stadium and the Victoria mall on the waterfront. The rooms are attractive and clean, everything works, and the wifi is ok. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They made calls for us for taxis and tours, and recommended nearby...

An excellent location overlooking the Table mountain. A walking distance from V&A waterfront. Rooms were spacious. Felt like a home away from home. Breakfast was great. The staff was very friendly. Area around is very safe and you can visit the waterfront even in the late evening.

We stayed at House on the Hill during a 5 day visit in June 2016. Very friendly owners, nice clean rooms, good location and cosy atmosphere. Arranging tours, air port pick-ups (even after long delays) or plain advice about the city, it's all possible. Great value for money!

The place is exactly like a hostel except that it has private rooms. The bathrooms are very small, just enough for one person to stand. The toiletries are below average. First day, there was clogging in the shower, which they readily repaired. The room had good facilities like refrigerator, extra table fan, kettle, cutlery etc. The breakfast was just average...

Hi Deepika thanks for your review and sorry that House on the hill was not for you. We call ourselves an upmarket Backpacker with all B&B amenities. And that is what you pay for. We liked our stay at House in the Hill. It is cheap and on the same time there's everything you need. The area seemed really safe and parking was always available in front of the house. We stayed in two in room number 5, as it was the only twin-bedroom available. It was clean, there was enough space and everything...
