Good location, friendly staff and clean rooms with air condition. There's a rooftop bar with a very nice view. The breakfast was pretty decent although it would be nice with a few more hot options. Would stay here again.

Hotel is central, clean, view from our room was beautiful, staff is very friendly.Siphokazi & the bar man recommended other places that we can visit while in cpt. However the hotel needs to have a parking space reserved for each & every room..We had a best stay in Cloud 9 & we will stay there again when we visit CPT

We would like to thank you for your kind words and wonderful review of our hotel. Sipho asked us to send her regards as well:) Parking in the city bowl is a major problem and although we would have loved having parking for each room we unfortunately only have the property we rent from the school next door. Stayed while they were finishing last renovation of restaurant. My room was not large but had all the stuff I needed. Nice courtyard but roof terrace with pool has incredible views! Friendly staff. Breakfast was nice but a bit slow. Location is also very good with many restaurants on doorstep and close to Table Mountain and beaches.

They've got a modern design with very friendly staff. We've been here for a few days and really enjoyed the neighborhood (with a lot of great bars and restaurants). They also got a few swimming pools and rooftop bar! So nice if you've been travelling through the country for a while and looking for a peaceful place in the centre...

Thanks for your comment about the cleanliness of the hotel. We do offer different room types, some rooms are bigger than others. All rooms facing the road has double glazing and sound proof windows and doors, so noise of the street is kept to a minimum. Renovation activities are now all completed, including the breakfast restaurant and we do apologies...

I recently stayed at Cloud 9 in room 8. The room, although fairly small was fantastic. A view of table mountain, positioned right next to the amazing rooftop pool and bar with a 360 degree view of Cape Town. An added bonus was the Spa & Gym located on the first floor, which on a busy business trip was much...

The guesthouse (former "Leeuwenhoek") was being renovated. As a result, there was a smell of paint and work was going on adjacent to the part of the hotel we were in. Rooms were clean, but still a bit "sterile". There was a little table on the balcony, but chairs were missing. We were promised that chairs would arrive, but this...

There is need to put ventilation in the bathroom (room 21) the absence of which causes a bad smell in the whole room. A mirror in the room could make the finishings great. The place is beautiful and well located

We have been coming to Cape Town regularly for the past 20 years and often stayed at Leeuwenvoet guest house. The classic Victorian rooms, the friendly casual atmosphere, the personal touch by the Capetonian staff, the sumptuous, freshly cooked breakfasts, all made it a home away from home. Sadly, last evening we checked in to a totally renovated and modernised...
