We booked the 18 beds for 10 days and it was fantastic. Very authentic African . Great views and a quiet location . The service was great and the breakfasts could not be better . Well managed and very good service . Excellent food .

The hotel is based near Constantia Nek and looks out among the trees. Our room had it's owned decked area, which was perfect for an afternoon glass of wine or morning cup of tea! Our room was equipped with a kettle and fridge (including milk) and had a spacious bathroom and huge shower. Breakfast was served in the main house...

This was an inspired choice. The location is marvelous and the views from the lodge are stunning. I loved the architecture and the interior design is lovely. The owner and her daughters were so gracious and helpful. Breakfast was delicious.

Beautiful thatched large house , amazing views , Tranquil area , clean & decor lovely. Stunning breakfast. Beautiful tennis courts ! We got a room upgrade here so very lucky but I guess that can't be relyed on. Book it !

We stayed in the springbok room. The smallest room, but the only one available while booking. (But I wanted to stay at Ikhaya after seeing the views on internet). In real the views are amazing too. A truly superb lodge situated minutes from a number of great winelands. Kathe the manageress is most wonderful and will ensure you feel right at home from the moment you park the car outside the lodge - she is also always on hand for any recommendations or suggestions you may need for day trips, wineland visits or restaurants. The lodge is very charming and people working there very nice and willing to help. The rooms are clean, African charm and the beds were nice. Also the rain shower was perfect! Pool was a bit cold for my liking, but that is a minor detail! Same goes for finding the place via navigation, but I found that more hotels/restaurants...

Absolutely fabulous room perfect staff great poppy full of life will be back. View majestic breakfast on veranda perfect. Safe secure.Grounds well manicured with pool and tennis court. Parking secure and easy access in and out of property.

We were upgraded to the Nguni Room by the fantastic hostess. The room was beautiful - with a four poster bed and the slipper bath adding to the romance of the suite. The balcony is fantastic for relaxing, overlooking the city and some of the vineyards in the area. The only negative was that the building isn't well insulated, so...
