We at Greenability Installations will definitely keep on making use of Zoete Inval , as they are cost efficient with good service. We find the staff very friendly and the breakfast is good, we would recommend anyone to book at this lodge.

We stayed the night at Zoete Inval last night. It is very quaint, my wife didn't really like it but I did. It is an old house on Main Road Hermanus. Our room had a separate bathroom with a notice on the door advising it was only for the use of room 1 (our room) It meant that we never...

I have stayed in this guest house for one night, and it was a nice and cosy place. Nice staff, and good atmosphere. Breakfast was ok, and you can get things like egg or cheese with a little bit of extra.

Place is really nice and cozy. The breakfast was small, but really nice and yummy. The dorm room was clean and a good size. It is about 10-15 min walk to downtown and 10 min by taxi to go to the beach.

Thank you for your feedback. We so hope that you were given a breakfast menu!! Sometimes people may think the self-serve continental breakfast is all we have but there are several hot breakfast options available, too.

Thank you for the amazing stay. What a nice and cozy place to stay. What is nice is it's close to town and what an awesome place must stay there. They have a cat that walks around there which is really cute and fluffy. The service is of high standard and very friendly.

We stayed here one night on our way to Garden Route. We got a nice and friendly welcome and were shown to a rather big room (oldfashioned), very comfortable beds and our "own" bathroom in the corridor. There was a kitchen for selfcatering and a room where you could wash your clothes. We got a good breakfast (continental). The distance...

The room was very small. And with 3 beds, even smaller. I especially asked in booking for a third bed for our aged mother. The bed was narrow, and the base of the bed even narrower, so most uncomfortable. Also had we known we would have to climb stairs to our room, would not have booked with you. Also did not...

Thank you for you feedback and for drawing our attention to the need to include (upstairs) on the specific descriptions of our various rooms. It is important and our website clearly shows this, but where people use portals for bookings, the detailed view is often not present. We must rectify this. We are sorry that the extra efforts we made...

Very average accommodation for the price and quite run down - booked the family room (only one available) at R1500 for two people for one night. TV did not work and there was no soap/shampoo in the bathroom.

Thank you for sharing your concerns. Yes, we fully understand your disappointment. We can only suggest that when visiting Hermanus, (Dec-Jan) that you consider booking well in advance to secure a suitable room for yourselves rather than the only room we had left for just the one night, at such short notice (equipped to sleep 4). Thank you for drawing...

We stayed for two nights during new year. The guest house is very well located , quiet , clean and very enviromentally friendly place. Marilyn was a wonderful host, she gave us nice tips about hermanus, and a very nice breakfast, the homemade Jam is very nice , you can always buy one to take with you.

“The rooms in the more hostel-y of the two buildings (the one with the hot tub on it and the guest-use kitchen) are notably less comfortable than those in the more home-y building. Looking at privates in both, we went with the home-y option and were very satisfied.”
