We had the pleasure of staying at the Potting Shed for 2 weeks in one of the delux rooms with their own private patio area including BBQ. AnneMarie and Dave couldn't do enough for us and helped in so many ways, including restaurant reservations and changing a golf booking which I messed up - no mean feat in Hermanus area!...

The Potting Shed provided us with a warm welcome in Hermanus. It's run by a friendly couple who want to provide you with a good stay in the area, it's just a short walk to the sea front and cliffs. We stayed in the roof loft which was a lovely big room and lovely bathroom. It had a nice area...

We were made welcome and the room was fine but the bed was not securely fixed and banged against the wall. There was a ceiling fan designed for a high ceiling but in this room you could easily touch the blades with your fingers or hand. Was it because of the dangerous fan that there was a prominent liability disclaimer...

Good location, very warm welcoming from Annamarie & David, nice little touch of a cool drink of iced tea on our arrival, could not fault anything, extremely clean and comfortable, would certainly say here again. Linda. England.

My boyfriend and I checked into the Deluxe Room at the Potting Shed for the Valentine's weekend. Not only was a cherry Doreen ready to greet us warmly with a welcoming iced tea, but we were made to feel welcomed with heart shaped biscuits and a chat about our room (&the town's ) features. The breakfast was hot and home-made...

This is an absolutely lovely B&B. It is immaculately clean, tastefully decorated, has very comfy beds, powerful showers and great breakfasts. On top of that there is a lounge area and a pool and seating area for guests. We received a friendly welcome from our hosts and a great recommendation from Annamarie for a place to eat. Sadly we only...

Fantastic B&B, immaculate, great location and the breakfast was Devine. With we had stayed for longer. 10 min walk to the centre and a shirt 10 minute drive to the Whales Tours. Hermanus itself if beautiful, lots of nice restaurants and walks - and of course the whales if you are lucky to catch a glimpse.

Read about this place in lonely planet and booked in. The most beautifully decorated, modern yet quaint guest house. Staff couldn't have been nicer. A small walk to town. Rooms really spacious and decorated in great taste.. have yet to have breakfast but looks very tasty. The pool area is small but adequate.
