Leisure Isle Lodge reminds one why there will always be a need for boutique guest houses. Great location. (provided you have transport) Excellent accommodation. (the room does get light very early in the morning) We had dinner on our first night, it was a fantastic meal albeit pricey. In general, the service we received was personal and efficient. Breakfast is...

Every single employee who works at the lodge were friendly, helpful and full of smiles. Cher made my booking ( and changes thereafter) effortless. We stayed at the Villa. The Villa made us feel like we landed in heaven. The view , beds and decor is amazing. We found every single staff member professional and willing to make our stay...

What a beautiful place, with the perfect setting. There is however some room for improvement, especially with regards to checking if everything is working as it should after renovation. Although I did not had hot water (in winter), I will be back for a next time, since I trust that you were just not completely ready for guests yet.

Thank you for your feedback we were closed for the month of June and sadly due to terrible weather were setback a few days with the builders and renovations so weren't able to ensure that everything was smooth sailing. I do apologise for this and was told of your hot water situation which was truly unfortunate. We look forward to...

The lodge was on Leisure Isle, which was located at a quiet part of town. You definitely need a car to access to the Lodge because the roads leading there are not well-lit at night. The place is stylishly decorated with an amazing view of the lagoon in the day. However, it was a pity that the in-house restaurant Daniela's...

Whilst Leisure Isle Lodge is ever so slightly more stylishly decorated and a lot more pricey than Amanzi Lodge (just down the road), we prefer Amanzi to this establishment. The reception areas at Leisure Isle are more spacious, but the room we stayed in needed some attention. The furniture looked slightly dated, one of the arm chairs squeaked so badly...

The lodge is on Leisure Isle in Knysna 15 minutes from town. Quiet, secure location right on the lagoon, with super water views. They have their own restaurant so a tasty dinner can easily be had for late arrivals. Breakfast is varied and fresh but, for business folk, make a 24 hr arrangement to have yours before 0800. Stay, enjoy...

We stayed at Leisure Island Lodge for four nights at the end of a short break to Cape Town and the Garden Route. A stunning view over the lagoon makes the price worthwhile. The rooms were comfortable, clean and well-appointed. The staff were professional and friendly. Use of bicycles and kayaks are part of the deal and there is plenty to explore in the beautiful lagoon. A wonderful stay.
