My husband and two teenage children stayed here just before Christmas. We absolutely loved it. Although the owner was away we were very well looked after by the lovely Jenny. We had a two bedroom duplex which was tastefully decorated and had everything you could need, including some lovely touches such as nice toiletries and glossy magazines. It was in...

We stayed at Azure House in November and can definitely recommend staying here. It is perfect if you are looking for peace and relaxation as there are only 8 suites overlooking the lagoon. Sidney was the perfect host and kindly upgraded us to a 2 bedroom suite with gorgeous views. The accommodation is tastefully decorated and nothing is too much...

Our room was on the lower floor. It had a kitchenette was well appointed and had a lovely view. It was a short walk to the waterfront. We didn't get a very warm reception and got little or no advice for restaurants, we were simply directed to the waterfront. There was no choice for breakfast apart from the time you...

A warm welcome and comfortable accommodation, our room had a deck looking out on to the harbour and hills beyond, picture attached. Well equipped and furnished. A small point that some of the paintwork needs to be touched up here and there, and the many steps would make it unsuitable for disabled visitors.

We stayed in the two bedroom apartment on the top floor. Fabulous views across the lagoon to wake to. The balcony was massive with a seating area and separate dining area, where our hot breakfast was served each day. The bedrooms are well furnished and beds comfortable. The whole place was very quite and peaceful. The apartment was fully self-catering,...

This is really good value. More a self catering property than a hotel, but breakfasts are available in your apartment. Sydne the owner is very friendly and helpful and has made the grounds and pool area very attractive to use. The rooms/aparments have lovely views over the Knysna Lagoon and Heads. We stayed in Apt 1, and along with 2...

Doubt you'll wake up to a more stunning view than the one we enjoyed from our room at Azure House where we spent two nights. Our ground floor accommodation looked straight out over the lagoon and Knysna Heads. Spectacular! Our room was comfortable with a kitchen area and a verandah with a barbecue. On the downside, the bathroom was dated...

Wonderful view. Dated property. Noisey from rest of house. Small cramped bath room. Can only check in between three and five PM. Must vacate by 8:45 AM. Parking is tight. Breakfast unimpressive. marginal accomodations considering other places we stayed during our previous two weeks traveling in SA.

Stayed here for 5 days and we were made most welcome. The apartments were clean, spacious and tastefully furnished with the most wonderful views over the bay. Just the place to enjoy the wonderful breakfasts served up on a tray and delivered to our terrace each morning. It was conveniently located for the excellent restaurants, shops and the other many attractions...

Comfortable room and lovely balcony overlooking the lagoon and Knysna Heads. Bathroom very small and shower built for short people. Breakfast was served on the balcony and consisted of All Bran already in the bowl, a wine goblet of fruit salad, plain yoghurt and bacon and scrambled eggs, which needless to say were cold long before we were ready to...

“If you are a light sleeper ask for a first floor room. Our room was on the ground floor and we could hear people moving about overhead. In fairness, the owner did warn us about this on arrival and we declined the offer of a move because we loved the atmosphere of our room and our view so much.”
