We stayed at 9 on Heron during a trip in early/mid November. After a long drive from Cape Town we were warmly greeted by the hosts, Margo and Agnieszka. They made us feel right at home and provided us with helpful tips, maps and recommendations on where to go for good food & desserts! After check-in we relaxed in the...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, so much so we stayed an additional night than we had planned. Margo and Agnieszka were so welcoming, friendly, and really helpful with tips, recommendations and even booking dinner in advance for us. The b&b is situated on a quiet road just a short drive to the town centre, the lagoon beach or the...

We arrived after a hectic meeting and five hours of driving. Even though it was after 6 pm in the evening our hosts were gracious, welcoming and had used Google to find out what we ment when we requested a Banting Breakfast. Not only did they buy in the ingredients, they also checked which Restaurant served Banting Meals for our...

I stayed there in august 2013, and felt so welcome like hardly anywhere. The owners have a lot of good hints for places of interest and things to do. Their home is very nice, the rooms very always clean and all of them have a small terrace outside with a view in the greens. Splendid!

We stayed here in November 2011 and when we realised that we would be including Knysna again on this our second trip to South Africa we knew straight away where we would be staying. You could not receive a warmer welcome from Margo and Agnieszka (or from Tao the cat-dog!) and it felt like visiting old friends. 9 On Heron...

Me and my wife stayed in Knysna, one of the most beautiful and peaceful towns in South Africa, for 3 nights. The first thign which struck us was the peaceful and quite close to nature like surroundings and the set up. The hosts, I can assure, are the most friendliest and warm hosts you can ever get. I stayed 3 nights and, from the start, felt really at home. Margo and Agnieszka went above and beyond the level of service that I would expect in any hotel/guest house. Smallish but very comfortable and homely rooms. Charming fully wooden building. No dstv but that only mattered to my mother. We had a lovely time around the very nice Braai area with friends in the evening. A swimming pool would have been nice, but then again I guess you can't have it all... The 2 hosts are a pleasure.
