We stayed here for one night while travelling along the garden route. The lodge was a very nice older place. The host was polite and breakfast was awesome. The only negative was the shower. It was practically impossible to maintain any sort of temperature. You had two options, boiling hot or freezing cold.

Against some comments her we must say the difference. Yellowwood Lodge is a place just like Knysna. Very british. It is very classic yes, but not old at all.... The owner and host was very helpful and a great host to us.... The rooms are spacious and all have lovely terraces....

The hotel owner and host was very welcoming and friendly. The general feel of this old colonial style house was tranquil and the gardens were incredibly well presented. Breakfast outside on the veranda was a lovely touch and the food was plentiful in choice and of good quality. The wifi had good connection throughout the main house and rooms and...

This place is not only outdated, its just a horrible place. I dont need to write a long description, everything is just bad. I dont know how it pretends to maintain 3 stars or 8.8 on booking.com. Dont believe the offical photos, the rooms are not like that. Do not stay here.

Stayed here on my way to cape town. The hotel is close to the N2 in a safe and secure area. Hotel facilities are dated but all the amenities are provided. Breakfast was the highlight of the stay. Would stay again.

Yellowwood Lodge is unforunately outdated and needs a thorough revamp. The Victorian house has seen better days, but the garden is still beautiful. Ernest, the owner ist very helpful and breakfast was good. The location is central but not noisy. Off-street parking facility very positive.

I loved my stay at this B&B. The location was great, down a quiet street but still very close to town. So very little noise from the street yet only a couple of minutes walk from the centre of town. Ernest, the owner, was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The rooms were nice and comfortable. My room also...

We loved this guest house! Very comfortable and clean in a good location. The garden is lovely. The main house is old and authentic for people who appreciate history. The breakfast was amazing .. Served outside on the patio. The bed was so comfortable I wanted to take it home with me. Excellent price for such a lovely place.

Our family of five spent two nights in this delightful bed and breakfast. The owner was helpful and welcoming, generous in his guidance and advise about what to see and do around town. His restaurant recommendations were spot on - we loved our meals at The Anchorage and Mario's. WiFi was strong with good coverage. Our rooms were spacious, comfortable...

Had a very comfortable stay at Yellowwood Lodge. Room was large and comfortable with a good view, and location of the lodge was ideal for walking to nearby restaurants and other activities in Knysna. We were very well looked after throughout our stay; I would stay again.
