We did not stay here but went as non residents for dinner. Good, extensive menu with local produce and attentive waiting staff. Chef's salad was rather overdressed but snails under a blue cheese dressing were good. Karoo lamb shank and duck were tasty and the triple chocolate dessert and Cape Brandy Tart good. The dining room was busy so obviously...

Would. Hoose it again. Very friendly and helpful in any respect. Only the main road in the back can noisy, depending on your room. We had Lady Anne and there it was fine. In the evening little frogs are amazing what noise they van produce!

We stayed for 2 nights and if our travels had allowed it we would have stayed longer. We were greeted by Del, a wonderfully warm hearted gentlemen, who showed us the amazing property and our amazing room. Simply beautiful, great buffet breakfast, lovely staff, we hope to come back.

A great stop off point on our journey back from Addo to Cape Town. Beautifully appointed hotel overlooking the lagoon. Very nice and comfortable rooms, excellent restaurant. Set in picturesque surroundings with a pool. I would not hesitate to recommend or use this hotel again.

The hotel was well decorated if a little old fashioned for my personal taste and the bar was very quiet...

Service not very well organized and the pasta with seafood was not good... Breakfast was nice, this outside on the terras with vieuw on the lake.

Had a beautiful big room, with a very unusual large bathroom. Car washed without asking which was a bonus. Electric blanket! Not had one of those since my grandmothers time. Room clean although for a 5 * hotel I would expect the sheets to be changed every day. Dinner was poor, main meal was cold and sent back and when...
