Wow, all I can say is that it was hard to leave! We booked in for two nights during the busy Oyster Festival. The staff were very attentive, warm and friendly and were very helpful in guiding us to the best kept secrets in Knysna. (You will have to ask them yourself!) Our breakfasts were delicious and the best coffee...

Look no further than Amanzi Island Lodge, this place is amazing. We stayed here one night and loved every moment of it. It definitely deserves more than a one night stay. Nothing was overlooked in the room, the small touches were very appreciated. We were recommended to Cornuti Restaurant for dinner which was very good. We unfortunately did not have...

This was our second stay at Amanzi; we know when we are on to a good thing. We stayed for three nights, travelling down to Knysna for its annual running races. Our booking enquiry was responded to almost immediately and was efficiently dealt with. A few days before arriving Amanzi emailed us to enquire whether they could make any dining...

We were worried arriving in Knysna during the middle of winter being so cold. But the warm cozy fires burning in the lounge and reception soon warmed us up. After we checked in and Odette made us some delicious hot chocolate, tea and coffee ! Amanzi is amazing, even in winter, and we enjoyed many local activities in the area...

We stayed in in Knysna for the first time. A friend of ours recommended Amanzi Lodge and we can only thank them because this was the very best advice we could have been given. Margret and Helen made our stay most pleasant. Recommendations for dinner or lunch were perfect and they also made the reservations for us. Having breakfast on...
