We stayed here in September 2013, and really loved it. We loved the history of the place, and loved that the furnishings and antiques are all from the farm, making it a very special experience. The way various bits and pieces of equipment and furnishings have been kept and creatively woven into the decor, retaining the historical significance and connection...

Stayed in the Wagon Room for 5 nights. As we had already paid we decided to tough it out. Pros: Owner Mandie is very friendly & tried to supply anything we needed. The farm is peaceful with nice wald and streams. Cons: All the furnishings were old bric a brac from the farm rather than purpose bought. Bedside mats were...

I recently spent the night in Kruisrivier Guest Farm. To be specific: in the stables. And guess what ? It was fantastic ! Basie & Mandi are great hosts, welcoming and helpful, the Guest Farm is perfectly located in the foothills of the beautiful Swartberg Mountains and for me it was a wonderful stopover on my way to Prince Albert....

We loved this spot for so many reasons - its quiet and peaceful, a real working family farm, near to Calitzdorp (the home of winning port), and the most wonderful friendly hospitable hosts.
