The room was basic, single size beds, attached bathroom (without heater), heating in the room worked on and off. Free WiFi in the rooms and public areas. Dinner was very good, a set menu which included several choices of starters, main course and dessert.. Breakfast buffet was also good with multiple choices of cold, hot foods, cereals, fruits, yogurts and...

Booked into the hotel for two nights. We were told that the hotel is fully booked, therefor we had to take what we could get.....this was not true, as during the two days, we noticed just a few other guests. The room looked like it dated from the 1980's. Taps in shower / bath did not work & when we managed...

We stayed in this hotel for the second time and was again impressed with the room and service. The special winter offer offers good value for money. Room was clean and comfortable. Upon arrival the air conditioner was on and the room was nice and cozy. Will certainly return for a third time. Martin & Amanda

Spent last night there. Great for us, because we have finally realized that "normal" hotels are very noisy with inconsiderate people banging doors, running in the passages etc at all hours of the night, and the Riempie has separate bungalows which suit us perfectly. Dinner was average, maybe a bit pricey for Oudtshoorn, but it was ok. Easier than driving...

The hotel looked like a little village with thatched chalets all over. Hotel premises looked clean. Our very private thatched chalet looked very nice, I liked the style of given room. Overall you have everything you need, clean room, bathroom with a hot water, comfortable bed and soft pillows, TV with selection of channels, wardrobe, tea and coffee facilities. As...

What I really liked about this 'hotel', was that it was actually individual cabins, which I prefer as it is more private. Everything was clean and in a working condition, I have no complaints and would definitely go again.

We stayed here for 2 nights during March 2015. The rondaval itself was very pleasant and clean, although it was a squash with the extra beds for the kids. The bathroom was a little dated however. The room had a fridge and we were right close to the pool. We did not eat at the in-house restaurant and breakfast was...

I stayed for 5 nights and weren't impressed. To pay R1 300 per night and don't even have a match for the candle when the elictricity gets cut, is not good enough. The rondawel room is small with a small shower, the wifi signal not strong enough to do my mails etc. I have stayd in much nicer places in...

My son and I stayed in one of the rondawels for one night. Reception was efficient, and the room (with a double and a single bed) was a very nice size. There is plenty space around the beds, and certainly a lot more roomy than a standard protea hotel room in other parts of the country. It was nice and...

This hotel has it all and more. The rooms were clean, the service at reception was second to none (with excellent local knowledge of the area - thanks AJ) and the location was quiet but still central to the area. The first major draw card of this place is the rooms. I can see these rooms being polarising as they...
