Great place to stay in Oudtshoorn. Lovely hosts/owners who could answer most questions about the area and give some really good tips on what to do. Breakfast, at extra cost, was definitely worth it and a great start to the day.

We only got to spend a night there, but it was great. Good facilities, great pool and best; the staff. Matt and Rosa were very kind and friendly with us, we got to talk a lot. Also, in the morning, we bought an ostrich egg and cooked it with them :) thanks for everything!

We spend two nights in Lodge 96 and enjoyed our from beginning to end! We pitched our tent and jumped in to the lovely pool, read a book, played with the two dogs (hours of fetching fun). It's located in the main street and about 5min away from big shopping malls. Oudtshoorn itself was a nice town in a beautifull...

Very basic, backpackers place. The owners were helpful but the place itself looks a bit rundown, especially a shed behind the communal kitchen. As we had no other option than staying in the tent (peak season) I found 500 Rand a night overpriced for what you get.

Stayed here for three days with my German friend, and I really enjoyed the warm hospitality Matt and Rosa bring. The place is central but is quiet enough - we stayed in a room with a private toilet behind their main house/reception. Brekky was sufficient, their plants are nice (good topics for several random conversations), and the place is well...

I will start off with the positive. The staff was very helpful with all bookings and suggested MANY activities. He went above and beyond attempting to get us a rental car and such. Always arranged shuttles and was very, very knowledgable about the town/area. He knew we were on a budget so he tried to pull strings to get us...

On our way to Uniondale, we stopped in Oudtshoorn to overnight... We had booked a place at a guest house and we arranged for late arrival as we drove from Cape Town after work. An hour before we would reach Oudtshoorn the guest house phoned and said they no longer could accommodate us at a late hour. We phoned Lodge...

We stayed in a room here for one night. The room was quaint with clean linen and towels. The house is old and as such noise can travel quite a bit, especially with the wooden floors. There is only one bathroom in the house, so this can be a problem if there are many people in the house. The bathroom...
