My wife and I stayed one night at La Plume during our tour of the Garden Route. The Guest house accommodation is very well appointed, has beautiful rooms, and has a swimming pool. We had for some reason no water in our bathroom when we arrived but it was attended to effectively. The Restaurant is well appointed - but the...

Visited the La Plume Guesthouse in Oudshoorn. I shall keep this brief. Outstanding. Setting was lovely. The food was amazing and the rooms were superbly decorated. We even borrowed bikes to have a ride around. The best accommodation on our holiday by far.

This accommodation is modestly called a guest house, it is one of the most beautiful places I've stayed in. The welcome was second to none, wine, soft drinks offered whilst they arranged our keys and registration. The gardens are beautifully tended and have various areas to sit. There is a pool with beds etc. We stayed in Byocks this was...

We had a lovely stay here. We were part of a small (14 people) group traveling together, and it appeared many of the other guests might have been part of such groups. The whole place had an old world elegance about it. Almost as if it was an old plantation house—though I have no idea if that is what it...

Stayed here one night (wish it was more) on a Garden Route tour and without a doubt was THE best on the tour. La Plume has great character and some great rooms, though on my own the room(s) where massive I could have held a dance there. Staff were always very helpful regarding any problems or requests. Just book it,...

Beautiful boutique guest house in the middle of country side. Was totally surprised by the bedrooms. Quality of finishing touches was excellent. Food was also very good. Staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

We stayed here for two nights on our recent trip to South Africa. After a long journey we were warmly welcomed with drinks and snacks and given a room upgrade. The honeymoon suite was a wonderful spacious room decorated in dark wood with beautiful views over the countryside to the mountains beyond. There was wonderful attention to detail in all...

We arrived at La Plume after a long drive and after a warm welcome we were given a drink on the lawn. The staff here are very friendly and helpful and the accommodation is great (Victorian style, but VERY comfortable). Our evening meal was very good and the Ostrich steak was fantastic. Breakfast is a buffet, but with a good...

We have spent one night in this lodge during our honeymoon; the accomodation was in one suite and I must say that we are not satisfied just because the room was recently re-painted and there was a huge smell of paint. I think this room could not be given to customers in such conditions. For the rest it was a...
