We stayed in a cottage for three nights. They are in their own area and laid out in such a way you feel you have your own private garden. We did not use the self catering facilities so cannot comment on this. There were an abundance of power points and the internet connection was very fast. Amenities in the shower...

We stayed in the Garden cottages which were very good. The only issue we had was price of meals which were priced for Foreign Tourists and not South Africans so we ate in Paarl for less than half the price. Very central to Franchshoek and Stellenbosch,Paarl and Capetown. Would stay again.

We stayed in one of the cottages on this fruit farm/guest estate. Although the cottage itself was rather dark (and cool thank goodness), the guest estate, with several cape Dutch style buildings is charming and very well run. A restaurant, which overlooks the good size guest swimming pool, serves breakfast and quality dinners. Friendly owners and a lovely place to...

Firstly, if you haven't been here and are thinking about it, stop what you are doing and book NOW! We unfortunately only stayed for 2 nights but I cannot wait to return! We had booked as 3 friends one of the apartments with private pool and I can honestly say when we arrived, it was the first time in a...

Absolutely perfect. Got everything you could ask for. The rooms were situated i old stables and gave you an impression of how an old farm looked a couple of hundred years ago. A genuine and friendly athmosphere.

This place is easy to get to and as soon as you get through the gates of the former fruit farm you are welcomed by friendly staff and a fantastic yard. It is wonderfully relaxing. Make sure to stay for dinner! Rooms are big and clean and the wineries are easy to get to.

We had initially planned to stay at a traditional vineyard near Cape Town for the first two nights on our first visit to South Africa. But we soon discovered that we had started to book a little too late. However, De Leeuwenhof proved to be a very nice and genuine alternative. The place is very unique and charming and has...

Everything was just perfect! Only the breakfast was a little below the otherwise very high standards this beautiful place offers. For example I would have liked some jam and cheese and more fruits. We do though strongly recommend to stay at this absolute paradise place!
