Had the most delicious, beautifully served lunch here and a swim in the pool too. The staff were wonderful and very accommodating. The food was beautifully served and very enjoyable too we would love to have stayed here. We were also shown the waterfall which was fabulous.

Once one arrives at this magnificent place via a dirt road, it feels like one has discovered a bit of old world paradise. On a sunny day its possible to walk out on the veranda ask for a towel and jump straight into the pool, lounge in the sun and have an ice cold glass of wine from the carefully...

Spent two nights here on recent visit from UK. Had the best room on the hotel (room 15). - confirmed by hotel reception. Can't comment about other rooms, but this was spacious and very comfortable. Beautiful setting, with a short walk to a natural waterfall, hence the name. Lunches excellent. Can't comment about dinners. The dreaded power cuts which plagued...

What an absolutely beautiful and serene place away from the hustle and bustle of Cape Town. The views of the mountains and the waterfall close by were stunning. The one let down was the Dinner as this was not as appetising as it looked (presentation of the food was good). The best thing to be commended is how accommodating the...

Our first lunch on the Wellington Wine Walk and this is where we stopped! We were hot and needed refreshment but I did not expect an oasis so close to perfection that I wanted to stay for ever. The gardens are stunning: lush green grass leads you down to the waterfall. A pathway drew us to the patio where an...

At the end of a dirt road (state of the road is good) you will find this gem. This is how a holiday is RSA should be. Enjoying the stunning views, walking around on the estate and having some nice dinners with fine wine in the restaurants. Walk up in the morning with a splash in the pool and having...

Had a wonderful spa treatment here. The facility faces a pretty sun room with indoor pool. The steam room has a chaise lounge made of smooth stone for your enjoyment as you soak in all the benefits. I enjoyed a body massage with hot stones and organic body butter made with local baobab oil. Delightfully aromatic! Afterwards, I had a...

We only stopped in for lunch and the owner gave us a very informative talk on olives and olive oil. He had a sense of humour that everyone appreciated and made us feel at home even though we were only there for lunch. We put our feet into the swimming pool, rested on the loungers beside the pool and just...

We were told that this was once a place were royalty would come to relax and indulge. Located between olive trees this manor has all characteristics to facilitate a relaxing and luxurious stay. The manager and his team were professional with a personal touch. A great place to stay.

On a recent visit to the wine country in Paarl, South Africa, we were fortunate enough to stay at the Cascade Manor. Although the approach is along a dirt road, it was worth it to get to the property. The setting is beautiful, complete with well maintained grounds and a waterfall, which we could see from our room. We were...
