Even though the hostel itself was not very cozy, we had a wonderful night here. The kitchen was very clean and there was a lot of equipment present so it is possible to cook yourself. Furthermore the beds were amazing, which was perfect since we were all very tired. The rooms are not very special, but everything you need is...

The worst service I have experienced in my life! R6 000 got stolen right out of my bag, there is no safe or any safe place to store your belongings. When we confronted the staff and the manager, they were useless and the manager's words were: "Well if I was carrying that much money with me, I would have checked...

Simple, but clean backpackers. The walking distance to the city center 20 minutes. It's good for a few nights. Unfortunately, there is glass in the bathroom door, so that you can not use the bathroom when someone else is in the room. (Dorm Room) City centre of Stellenbosch is beautiful!

I am somewhat wary of backpackers in general. Always thinking of the movie wonderlust and fearing a bunch of hippies suggesting random acts of kindness. Nevertheless. This place were great. Comfy beds and clean room. Hippies hanging around in lobby but the place is still decent.

Roadtripping for two weeks in SA, Banghoek was our first stop and what a great start to the trip it was! Its quiet, safe & secure location, offering parking for our cars too, was welcome. It is in walking distance of the local Spar supermarket and a 2-minute car drive (or 20min walk) into the centre of Stellenbosch. We stayed...

I came to Banghoek Place on December 24th with my boyfriend and two friends of ours. Before getting there I told them "don't expect too much, the prices are low" it was really surprising when we got there and saw an amazing place with a clean pool, barbeque, big kitchen, nice rooms and the nicest staff ever. Also is a...

We stayed two nights at a double room on the first floor in the backyard. Value for money is totally fine, as rooms are simple and clean. If you like company, you can spend time at the pool area or in the common rooms. If you like it more quiet, we can just tell, that we did not feel disturbed...

I had a blast staying in Banghoek Place. The dorms are industrial, but the nice communal area, the garden and the outgoing staff make up for that. The town is walkable and the wine tour they offer daily is recommendable.

Stellenbosch has a lot of very expensive places to stay. if you want to spend your money on wine then this is the place to stay. The double rooms are spacious and the entire hostel is very clean. They have a lot of common areas. The kitchen is large and has everything you need to make a meal to eat...

A comfortable bed, clean swimming pool and the ability to cook one's own meals in a communal kitchen, make this a good value for money stop over. The security is good and one can park one's car inside giving one peace of mind.
