A huge old house a few minutes outside of town surrounded by fine wine country. Here independence culture was cultivated to accommodate any adventurer or person passing through on business. Families of strangers and foreign travelers come and go about their own business. The rooms are peaceful with high vaulted ceilings and old wooden floors.

Stayed there for a wedding- so did not get to explore too much. We woke up in a wonderland and we loved it! Breakfast was great and the bath was amazing! The views really take your breath away- I wish we had had more time.

there were no bottle opener - however the hostess was quick in providing one. No cooldrink glasses and the cutlery were dirty. Room service was great though with a fresh supply of linen on the second day of our stay!! Much appreciated!

The location of the lodge is very good, my room was spacious and had a comfortable bed. The lodge is very well located. The staff were very helpful and accommodated my late arrival request and provided me with an alternative to breakfast on the day of my very early check-out. The only inconvenience is the road that comes from the... More

It was a total pleasure to spend 2 nights here, it was so beautiful and peaceful. The bed was fabulous and we had a wonderful nights rest. The leaf blower at 10am woke us up. The breakfast was just great.

I could not help feeling the B&B is a far afterthought than the wine farm and Cafeteria. The rooms are average and few items placed to give it a wine farm feeling. There are fatter better accommodation around Stellenbosch. Pro’s – big room, comfortable bed and good bathroom, flat screen TV. Breakfast at Cafeteria is good Negatives. No wifi, cement... More

I made the booking online and that was fairly easy. But when we got there, it was firstly not very clearly sign posted and we had to inquire at the restaurant first. Then the room had no aircon. And they had no remote on our keys for the gate - which closes at night so we had to phone them... More

Oakleaf Lodge is a little piece of paradise in the middle of wine country. Very friendly staff, willing to help. Ouma Lettie does the housekeeping, flower arrangements and will even do your laundry with a smile. The rooms are well equipped and beds are comfy. Breakfasts served at the Café on site are wonderful, try their breakfast wraps! Nice swimming... More

Nice little guesthouse with clean and spacious rooms. Excellent breakfast. Situaties in the middle of Delvera farm so an excellent place for activities. We did the moderate biking trail, which was greatly exciting!
