The guesthouse is in a great location, it's easy to find and the off street parking is a bonus. The hostess met me on arrival and was most helpful. The room was pretty basic and required updating, especially the en suite, when you consider the price charged. Breakfast in the cafe downstairs was lovely and couldn't be faulted, lovely helpful...

My cousin had booked 2 rooms for us at this hotel. We had checked it out on booking.com and the pictures looked great, so we agreed with their demand to pay the bill up front upon booking. When we arrived we had to haul our suitcases up some very steep stairs. Our room was small, the bed even smaller, my...

As we were a group of 3 couples we expected a bit better quality of this accommodation. Rooms were poorly equipped and it was very noisy as two rooms appeared to be above a lunchroom. With just a wooden floor the noise was overwhelming from 7AM! Accommodation is suitable for backpackers.

Have had much better & more luxurious guest houses for same or less money. Lacked outside space, just a small balcony on which to sit. Breakfast was like a backpackers hostel, taken amongst stacked tables & chairs. No conversation at all from the girl at the counter. Were very disappointed, but at least we were only there for 1 night.

Certainly not for the business traveler that would expect to get a good nights sleep - the noise just does not allow this. The breakfast the next morning was avaerage with overipe avo and hard eggs when soft were requested.

Unfortunately our room opened on to a lounge / reception. We had to ask twice for other towels as they smelt. Our bed was old and the headboard was full of chips in the paint. The electrical could not have been compliant. The breakfast was quick and efficient. The location was also good. The room was not ready when we...

Excellent location situated in the heart of Stellenbosch. Staff and amenities were very good with all facilities more than adequate for the business traveler. Also offers tremendous value for money for what you get.

Strategically located, you can go around this quiet town and enjoy everything, you will need a car od book on a tour to get to the vineyard. I heard there's backpacking tour or solo to go around the vineyards. Small, cozy and quaint. Staff are hospitable and great.

  • Very small
  • Very mouldy grout between the tiles. There's evidence this has been painted over to hide it!
  • Seriously disgusting mould in the shower
  • Rickety sink in the bedroom. For what purpose?!
