We had a wonderful stay at Middedorp Manor. We are returning guests and the level of service is top notch as always. The staff are friendly and the suites are immaculate. Breakfast in the morning was excellent. We went to one of the local restaurants for dinner which was within walking distance. We also had the opportunity to enjoy the...

We spent a weekend at Middedorp Manor and both thought it provided a excellent stay in very comfortable surroundings with friendly and attentive service. The welcoming bottle of wine in the room when we arrived was a really nice touch and it went down very well. My only (very small) criticism was that the coffee machine at breakfast was one...

Very good location near the restaurants and shops. We stayed here to visit the wine estates, most are only a 15 minutes drive from the hotel. The hotel feels homely, has a nice staff and offers a personal personal touch.

We were treated to a two night stay here and how lucky were we. Stayed in a suite which was very spacious and comfortable with a huge bathroom. Lovely views from the balcony. The staff were very attentive and we really enjoyed breakfast which had a great selection. Can really recommend staying here and ideally situated for the centre of...

We really enjoy the location and staff - front desk manager was very helpful. The breakfast quality was a very unexpected bonus and the location and central nature of the hotel was a bonus - parking was a bit of a challenge

Lovely traditional building a short walk from Stellenbosch centre. Staff are very friendly and the breakfast is great. Was offered a complimentary room upgrade. Only a small comment the large bathroom could have had more shelf space. Would certainly recommend and would stay again.

Upon our arrival we were informed that the card facility was out of order. We were also informed that breakfast was served from 07h30. The next morning we relised that there were no one at reception order in the kitchen and had to make our way to town to have breakfast. We came back at 09h30 and informed the person...

This was my second stay at Middedorp and it just gets better. Comfort, elegance, service and prime location. I recommend staying highly if in Stellenbosch. Maxwell was wonderful and saw to it that all of our experience was 5 star. Middedorp also made arrangements for Wine Escapes owned by John Grant to drive us for the Cape Experience and Wine...

From the time we were welcomed by Maxwell upon our arrival until we left was wonderful! The guest house and rooms are beautifully decorated. The details of the smaller things like the wine in your room, makes it even more welcoming!Maxwell is exceptional host and we would recommend staying there.
