We spent two wonderful evenings on the farm. The cottage was very comfortable and best of all were the beautiful sunsets from our large stoep. Life couldn't get better than that! A nice ice cold glass of wine, sunset, Table Mountain in the distance (surprisingly near when it feels like you're far out in the countryside!) and loads of animals...

Wow wow...a place where the kids can play..Live music..and every one asks if you have been served. Yes you will wait for your food but that is what's it's all about. We are so used to fast service but here the important thing is to relax. Enjoy the outside..the music the fresh air. Wheelchair friendly.

Visited this very interesting farm this morning 2 April 2017. A very good menu to suit all tastes. Kiddies menu also available. Pizzas also available. Alcoholic beverages also available. The venue could also be hired for special functions. Prices are very reasonable. Live music on a Sunday from 14h00. Great outing for families.

We had a one night stay-over at Wild Clover - our accommodation was a lovely little one bedroom cottage with a view over the neighbouring wildlife preserve and dam. We had a constant stream of animals parading past: giraffe, eland, springbok - so surprising to have the bushveld 30 mins out of Cape Town! The accommodation was good but basic...

HIGHLIGHTS: Spacious cottage with garden situated at the edge of a small game reserve (Villiera). Waking up with the animals outside your terrace was a real treat. Wish we saw more animals though but we only stayed 1 night. Sunrise was beautiful. Safe parking area. good value for money. There was no wifi in the cottage but we came prepared...

Having spent the morning on a wine tour, we were looking for somewhere quick and convenient to eat at. Driving along the R304 we found the Wild Clover Farm. A happy scene greeted us, not too busy but plenty of families and kids enjoying cool drinks and meals in the shade. We were greeted efficiently by our waitress and asked...

If you see my previous review you will realise I was very unhappy with this establishment. Since then the PR person apologized on behalf of the owners and offered a free weekend and a meal at their expense. The accommodation is nice and very well equipped for self catering (note no freezer just a fridge. The views are spectacular from...

The charlet was small but with a big stoep. The sleeper couch was so squeaky and lopsided the kids preferred to sleep on the ground. We had breakfast at the restaurant and waited over an hour for quiche and croissants. It was midweek with only a few people. The restaurant had a lovely play area for small kids.

Such a wonderful family restaurant, outdoors, kids can go wild. Highly recommended if you have toddlers and want to enjoy a meal together. Food is unpretentious and delicious, beer tasting highly recommended.

Made a booking weeks in advance and had it confirmed in an e-mail. On arrival they told us that it was only a provisional booing that had not been confirmed, which was not true as I had a written confirmation, which I sent to them again to prove it. Not an apology or even the courtesy of a reply. To...
