Small hotel with big cozy rooms in an excellent location to explore the wineries of the region. The toilet was also big and there was no problem with power outages (common in SA) during our stay. I would stay there again.

Greeted by a warm and cosy fire place and well informed reception, lovely and comfortable rooms, promised and delivered a wonderful and memorable stay. Strolling out into the bustling town and buzzing restaurants requires little effort because of the location of this neat and comfy gem.
An unhurried Breakfast in the warm and snug dining hall prepared you more than adequately for the day ahead… though on a cold, rainy day it will take some effort to leave this friendly, warm and cosy gem

We stayed at this cute boutique hotel for three nights. We are a family of four and booked two rooms, one being the “teen” room which is a room with a bunk bed and bathroom. It was a great set up for our family. The only complaint is that the teen room was quite stuffy because it did not have A/C.
There is a well maintained swimming pool and our family made use of it daily. There is parking out back, we were told that parking could be full but we never had any issues.
The staff were all courteous and smiling. There is a nice buffet breakfast and the baked goods each morning were very good!
The rooms were clean and spacious. There is a safe for valuables and a mini bar and fridge.
The hotel is in a great location to walk the town. Restaurants and colleges all within walking distance. We didn’t use our car, except to visit wine estates.
I’d recommend this hotel.

We had a little mini Kingswood College ladies reunion at this amazing hotel. We enjoyed lunch there - roast leg of lamb for R95 each followed by fantastic peppermint crisp tart and coffee for only R15. Julian, the manager was incredibly helpful and attentive. He suggested an excellent bottle of wine for the other two ladies in the party. Situated in Dorp Str, the hotel provides off road parking making your lunch completely relaxed.

The Eendracht Hotel was by far the best experience of all the hotels I stayed at while in South Africa. The property is quaint and cozy, and has great history. Even better, the staff is exceptionally kind, courteous and helpful. I will stay here again when I return, and I highly recommend it to all my friends, family, and others.

I thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Eendracht Hotel for a conference at Stellenbosch University. Avoiding the dull, homogeneous, 'international' feel of large hotels, the Eendracht has the character of a pleasant country lodge. My room was clean, large, light and well air-conditioned, and the bed was perfectly comfortable. Breakfasts were delicious. A major attraction of this hotel is its beautiful, very central location in the heart of Stellenbosch. From here you can walk within minutes to many excellent restaurants and all the major museums and attractions of the town.

Right in the heart of historic Stellenbosch. Comfortable rooms. Great welcome. Easy level walking distance to botanical gardens, museums, coffee shops, restaurants, local crafts, upmarket clothes shopping. Check out the Tourist Info office a short walk away for booking tours and other useful info, or just ask at the hotel reception who were super-helpful and very knowledgeable.

It’s very well located if you want to stay in town. It’s just off the Main Street with all the bars and restaurants and has a quiet feel to it. We had two luxury rooms and one junior suite. The rooms all had lovely large bathrooms with built in Jacuzzis (needs some deep cleaning) and very very comfortable beds (I got the best sleep of my trip in one of those beds). The pros are the location, the price and the size of the rooms (they were quite sufficient). The cons were the lack of staff to help with the luggage up the stairs and the breakfast (which was average at best). But overall we had a lovely stay there. I would recommend it as a nice non fussy option for Stellenbosch. The other similar options in town all seem to be located in much noisier sections of the town so this is a definite plus for Eendracht.
