Summerhill Farm just outside of Worcester is a beautiful place to stay especially if you have dogs. The owners – who are super-helpful and friendly – have dogs of their own and ours romped around the entire farm with them (even into the horses’ paddock) until they collapsed. The accommodation itself is lovely in a few secluded apartments with Wi-Fi,...

This place has all the amenities (air conditioning, mini kitchen in unit, laundry service, internet, etc.) and the farm and grounds were charming. Wendy and Bob (owners) made sure I had everything I needed.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay on this scenic guest farm. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with king sized beds and air-con. Bathrooms were clean and well equipped. Very gracious hosts Bob and Wendy made the stay more enjoyable with their suggestions on where to visit locally. Shall definitely make this our place to stay on future trips to Worcester.

What a peaceful and beautiful setting! The hosts were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room was clean, super spacious and absolutely homey. We didn't realize that breakfast was included the next morning - so it was a pleasant and really tasty surprise! The room had aircon (with heating), DSTV and free Wifi which is a big plus! The best of...

Summerhill is a great place to stay. Im not saying this lightly, as I have stayed in many many Bed and Breakfasts around the country because of golf travels. I enjoy the quiet country farm atmosphere. Wendy and Bob were friendly people and helpful, they tended to our every need. I will definitely stay there again.

The owners of this guest farm have put their own blood and sweat in making this place incredibly beautiful. Lovely and comfortable accommodation. What appealed most to me is their personal attention to each guest. And the cherry on top was the farm animals that my sons could help feed and pet. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend...

We wanted somewhere to stay en route back to Cape Town and found Summerhill by google. What a find! Our kids (ages 9,7,5) loved it. Bob and Wendy were wonderful hosts and couldn't have been more helpful. Our kids had a great time with all the farm animals and the freedom that they were allowed. Wendy gave us a guided...

WELCOME TO SUMMERHILL GUEST FARM. A hidden gem in a valley of paradise. We provide personal, farm-style accommodation on a Self Catering or a Bed & Breakfast basis. No matter what pace of living you desire Summerhill Farm, tucked away and nestled in the mountain valley of Brandwacht, will give you peace, relaxation and an appreciation of nature tranquility and superlative mountain views. Summerhill makes a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of City Life. Being a working farm it is ideal for children who can help to feed animals and collect eggs. It is a wonderful location for the sports enthusiast a peaceful retreat for the tired and stressed. During spring and the extended summer months (September to April), dry hot days encourage outdoor activities such as water sports on the Breede River and Brandvlei and Kwaggaskloof dams. A well-chilled local wine is the order of the day! Autumn and winter offer sunny days and cool evenings and if you are lucky, you may see snow on the surrounding peaks. ... more   less
