Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
From when you arrive even if you have not stayed before you feel as though you are part of the family. From Kadek the Garden Mgr to Gede in house keeping to Budi or Pande in the Terrace restaraunt you simply feel loved. A talent all Balinese emulate for sure. The gardens are manicured to perfection, the bungalows are very comfy with air con, cable, wifi and a garden ensuite. The restaraunt pool side excels in good food and wait till you have the inclusive breakfast. Wow Wow Wow! Located beachside and in central Candidasa is also a much liked feature so close to all Candidasa has to offer. Make sure you give here a try. No disapointment i assure you will ever eventuate. Bayside Bungalows, Bayshore Residences or Bayshore Villas. No 1 for Sure at Candidasa. Whether you are after a good size bungalow with most services or a villa ocean front or a stately residence with private plunge pool this is the place to stay in Candidasa. Tariff includes an alacarte breakfast. Wifi thru out and cable tv are but some of many luxury inclusions here at no extra charge. Where ever you walk the gardens are to be admired. Being centrally located in Candidasa you are walking distance to most venues or places of interest and the ocean basically nearly laps your door. The staff are superb to say the least. When in Candi stay here. You will not be disappointed.

Had dinner tonight and our entrees and mains one word covers it all. Faultless. Service very friendly and polite but not over the top. Pool side location and a sea breeze from the beach only 20 metres away certainly enhances the evening. Whether staying here or somewhere else in Candidasa stop here for lunch or dinner. You will not be disappointed. We never are.

We just had 4 well deserved nights here at Bayshore villas with fantastic rates without any lack or reduction in services. They just keep on keeping on to please all. This to be commended in these difficult times. From front office to house keeping to the food and beverage no failings whatsoever. That alacarte breakfast just so good and included in your tariff. From bungalows to villas to residences they have it all and in Candidasa such a great place with Virgin beach close by and so many unique restaraunts struggling to survive and yet do so please support Candidasa and its environs. We do!

Had the opportunity of staying for 2 days. Very comfortable air conditioned bungalows with ensuite. Cable tv, wifi and queen size beds. Included is a great breakfast. And i mean great! The property has a great swimming pool, spa area with great massages and located on the beach as well. You will not be disappointed.

Bayside is good, very good; not perfect, but no hotel is perfect. Staff welcoming and happy, polite and helpful; accommodation perfect for an ancient Europid hulk, with the bed vast and still comfortable; heating/cooling all good (tho' mostly provided by nature: it's the tropics!); the TV? hmm, adequate (tho' a few sports channels might help); 'fridge supply vast; the open air shower space, ideal and the hot water? yeah, hot; daily cleaning, spot on. Restaurant food? Local and regional and Europid food all very good and cheap as [by comparison with Oz], but one or two items simply lacking: NO Muesli !!! Brad, get the muesli in ! And while you're at it some cheaper, but still good wine for dinner. Will i return? Dv & wp, indeed yes. Dicky D.

This was our second visit to Bayshore last year we stayed in a Villa and this year in a two bedroom bungalow with our son . Very relaxing , great breakfast great service and advice from owner Brad about day trips etc. Nic collected us from the airport on arrival and also took us on a day trip to Ahmed. The boat trip to Blue Lagoon and Virgin Beach also recommended. We will be back again next year Thanks Brad, Kendak and all the team for another memorable stay Kerrie Andrew and Jeremy

Very convenient to the town and the harbour. Lovely big room, could have down with a few more power plugs, but plenty of hot water and good pressure and spotlessly clean. Our hostess brought up breakfast in the morning and was helpful and friendly. Although the room was basic, the bed was comfortable, and we enjoyed the lovely outdoor seating. A very, very good bargain option.

I have stayed at Bayside bungalows twice now and just booked again for next year. The rooms, staff, view, restaurant and position are all fantastic. It’s as good, or even better than the photos believe it or not and the sound of the waves crashing is a welcome constant. I am a solo traveller and have always felt safe and welcome.
