Ashyana resort is simply lovely. First of all, the bungalows are beautifully furnished. Very tasteful! The service is incredibly friendly and helpful, even by balinese standards, where staff (and folks in general) are very kind and polite. The restaurant offers a good selection of Western and indonesian dishes, all of them delicious and offers a spectacular sea view. The resort is eco-friendly and offers refill for your water bottles and a transparent recycling policy.

We just returned to our special hotel at Candidasa "Ashyana Candidasa". The experience was outstanding. The property was very special and the staff are incredible. This is more than just a hotel; it's an environment. The restaurant "Le-zat" were all outstanding, the generous staffing made this visit top drawer. The staff at Restaurant were top notch other side the reception, housekeeping, and kitchen team also was gracious. A small touches mean a ton to us. Your full staff made this an incredible experience. Please know that it truly makes a difference.

We stopped by to eat here and we’re so glad we did! A beautiful, open spaced restaurant overlooking the beach. Fantastic food, beautiful attentive staff. I had the prawn dish with noodles, ginger & honey and it was simply delicious. The basic white wine was equally good and so cheap! Highly recommend

Room was OK, very dark on the inside, no safe in the room, door didn't shut properly and had a big gap that you could see through. Ants in the bathroom, like everywhere. Bed comfortable enough, nice pool area with beanbags, security man on the front door overnight. Service in restaurant is extremely slow - took 90 minutes to get our order at lunch. You have to order breakfast the night before and say what you want and at what time but it still took 30 minutes for them to bring it to us despite us saying twice we were in a rush and us being the only people there at that time. There is nothing else to do near the hotel and the beach is rocky, much more variety in padangbai. Hotel offers excursions but they are 3-4 times price of arranging yourself. We had asked them to book a cab for us but changed our plans and cancelled it an hour before the driver was supposed to arrive- they didn't ring him and tried to charge us for the booking anyway. Overall not really recommended.

This hotel is peculiar! The food is good. But the room I stayed in was so close to the road that sleep was impossible. Traffic roared by all night and vibrations from the traffic could be felt as well. The shower, as posted on the wall next to the shower by the hotel, took 5 to 7 minutes to run hot. What a wicked waste of water! The staff in the early morning talked noisily to each other with no thought for sleeping guests. On raising some of the above issues with management the word ‘sorry’ was never heard.

This is a typical, Balinese Loseman style resort. It’s tremendously peaceful, beautiful and not overly crowded. It’s an older resort with rustic charm, beautiful gardens, and perfect pool on the beach. The beach area is cool, just a short walk down the pier to nice sand. The rooms are comfortable, spacious cozy. The AC was ice cold and bed very comfortable. We are definitely coming back to stay longer. The buffet is basic but good. We are breakfast and lunch at the restaurant. It’s very clean and decent food. The location is amazing, with a minimart and two pubs right across the street with live music. It’s an excellent place with kind, friendly staff!

A typical Balinese Losmen styled hotel. This place is smack bang ocean frontage . We had a newly renovated Deluxe Ocean View room. With swimming pool on our doorstep, Room was huge and well presented The hotel is dated but clean and location spectacular. Hotel restaurant was average. Plenty of local restaurants and warungs within 100 metres. We ate at the Water Garden Kafe for dinner which was fantastic. US$ 30 for slap up meal and drinks. Located 50 metres from hotel .Convenience store directly opposite hotel.Like every other hotel in Bali staff were awesome. Highly recommend.

I don't know about the iron. They do provide a thermos for hot water, but you have to put it out on your front porch, so they can fill it. No coffee maker. The Indonesians simply let coffee grounds sit in the cup with the hot water and wait for the grounds to sink to the bottom. I suggest you email the hotel.
