I was on a school trip last year and we stayed at the Puri Bagus Candidasa right up the road from this place. Resort food is generally a bit more expensive so we found ourselves going to Ganesh a lot. The staff was extremely attentive and made for such a fun experience dining there. Jack was our server most days and always made us happy and laugh while we were there. On top of the service, the food was amazing and the place itself is absolutely gorgeous. Love it here and hope to find myself in Bali again to visit our favorite little spot.

I stay at Ganesh since April-May back and forth . I spend wonderful time with my friends in Ganesh lodge, beautiful and very clean rooms with nice comfortable bed, tea station, nice balcony, very very clean bathroom, marvelous pool, very good friendly and helpful staff. First time i stay at Ganesh i went fishing with my friend and got a big mahi-mahi
As i read the review on other people, i stay at the same time with people who wrote a bad review, i was a witness . I personal meet the people who make a bad review on Ganesh this a personal drama and they project their negativity on the establishment.
I highly recommend stay on Ganesh i personally like Ganesh its a very relaxing environment. They have a attach restaurant at the hotel with a very good food. It's 2min from the beach Specially my favorite room is on the second floor i heard the ocean from my room. and a nice view form balcony I will come back for sure !!!!

I loved the owner and the food was good. Home made papaya cinnamon jam was delicious with the included breakfast.
Romantic room space, just turned on music and lit candles.

I loved my stay at Ganesh lodge. It’s conveniently tucked away from the Main Street which makes it quiet and peaceful. The staff makes you feel extra special and takes particularly good care of their guests. Nengah, the bar tender, was especially welcoming and fun to chat with. Special mention to the chef as well for the food at their restaurant – I ate there Monday through Friday 3 times a day, and every single dish was delicious. I booked a couple of massages through them as well which were onsite and quite good for the price! I highly recommend Ganesh to anyone

Had the best stay at Ganesh lodge. All staff were happy and smiling all day! service excellent in the restaurant thanks to Jack and his amazing cocktails! The pool and scenery around the hotel are stunning and the rooms were extremely clean and homely. The bathrooms especially are amazing. The food in the restaurant was excellent and the prices are perfect. We really felt looked after staying at the lodge. Scooter hire and taxi service or day trips available from the main counter and there is always someone around to help if you need it. We loved so much we have rebooked for when we return to Denpasar. Thank you to everyone at the Ganesh Lodge for looking after us! Love from the Rogers family!

Sadly we only spent one night here, but the room was clean, expansive & tastefully decorated. There were plenty of power outlets to charge our scuba related camera equipment.
The restaurant is some of the best we have had on this holiday. Great care was clearly taken in the preparation of the food for dinner & for breakfast. If you cannot stay here, we recommend coming for dinner!

Lovely hotel, helpful and friendly staff. The hotel has a restaurant serving delicious dishes from different cuisines of the world. Low prices for dishes in the restaurant. Low prices for hotel rooms. It doesn't smell musty. Large spacious rooms, a beautiful clean pool, lots of plants on the territory, all in greenery and flowers, there is a pond. A beautiful beach is a 5-minute walk away. The staff will help you call a taxi to get somewhere. They will also help to remove a good inexpensive motorcycle.

The room is very clean and comfy, more than expected. The pool area is very relaxing too. The staffs are helpful and friendly. I was there with a group of family and friends for one weekend, so the best place for us to gather is in restaurant area, its has an open air settings, its not too formal and it makes such a great ambiance. Would definitely come back next time!

After much research on places to stay in Candidasa, I decided on the Ganesh Lodge. I was not disappointed. The grounds are beautiful! The abundance of lush greenery makes for a very peaceful, private, relaxing stay. The rooms were well appointed and very comfortable. I really like the semi-outdoor bathroom. Very unique. Pool area was also beautiful. Breakfast was included and was quite delicious. I ate dinner here a couple of times; also delicious. Last, but definitely not least, are the staff - so friendly, accommodating, and helpful. If you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing, tranquil escape from the craziness of south Bali or Ubud, I would highly, highly recommend the Ganesh Lodge. I will definitely be back!

There's a variety of accommodation options. We had one of the single-storey, double rooms on the east side of the pool. They have lockable, inter-connecting doors to the next room, so can be used by two couples, parents and children, etc.
On the other side of the pool are two, more expensive, double rooms, one above the other, the upstairs one having an outside staircase and no internal connection to downstairs, so separate. Not sure if upstairs may be two bedrooms; best to check with Wayan.
New two-storey units were under construction on the south side when we were there in August, so knowing Balinese builders, could well be finished by now. Suggest flicking an e/m to Wayan with your specific requests, for his suggestions.
