First let me start with the positives. This hostel had quite a few positives - its location is central and easily accessible to Rowas Boulevard and all the shopping one can do there. The staff are very co-operative. I met a few good travellers here to hang out with, but that's where it sends - just "a few". By and...

Spent 1 night here because of our late transfer-flight since it was close and cheap to airport. We only needed a bed to sleep in. I slept with earplugs and did not sleep that night because of outdoor noise. I did not feel safe with gates open, dirty and shady bathroom and there were only old locals staying there. The...

Though I only paid 350 pesos and the place was on walking distance from terminal 4 of Manila airport I did not stay the night. The bed was disgusting. I had to change the sheets myself. The toilet closets were so small, they had to stay open to use them. I did not even try the shower because they were...

I booked this hostel as a convenient stopover for a long transit but it was a huge mistake - and I am very well versed in roughing it for a quick sleep but the location and service were so terrible I couldn't stay. The first problem was finding the place in the dark... it's on a poorly lit side street...

I stayed here on March 11th,2015.I was very surprised because the room fee has increased.I stayed at the dormitory last year.I payed 350peso per night. But I had to pay 450pesos.I must look for another hostel.I think it's too expensive for the facility such as non-aircon and a bad bed.

This area of manila is hell on earth and the hostel fits in well. The staff in the morning were helpful (lady at night was not!) but the area isnt safe or pleasant. The dorm was very big and there was no lock on the door

If you are on a budget AND feeling adventurous, by all means have a go. I shared the dorm with many (migrant?) workers. The lights were on all night, some were smoking, some were playing cards, no a/c, just a few fans so the windows were wide open on a restless street. Couldn't/didn't close my eyes. I was gone by...

Three things I like about the hostel are its location in the residential area of Baclaran although its close to busy Roxas Blvd; friendly staff; and the atmosphere which is relatively fresh because its a fenced area surrounded by trees which reminds me of my home. It looks more like a big residential house rather than as a hostel. I...

If you're on a budget, try other hostels. From a scale of 1-10 (10 being the highest), I give this old hostel a rate of 3. No wifi. Room's not that clean. The only good thing about this hostel is the accommodating staff. Stayed here for 1 night on Nov. 1, 2013.

Stayed here March to April 2013. I stayed here for two weeks. The place is typical budget hotel where rooms have basic amenities and beds are lined with a foam instead of a mattress. They can be dusty since this hotel is near Baclaran and the main road. Rooms facing the road can be noisy. One very notable incident during...
