Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The room was quite small and not very well equipped. Decoration was fairly "cheap". Wifi connection was working correctly. The breakfast was not good; no fresh orange juice, not so many choices.

Stay here last year and enjoyed so much just had to come back this year, the staff are very friendly and helpful. It has great facilities, large pool, gym, tennis and much more, my kids love the pool area and we found it very relaxing.

Plenty of secure parking available.

Clean and comfortable with a good selection for breakfast.

Pension located in an area without interest and without amenities nearby. Aging building. Decrepit rooms.
Air conditioning in heating mode only, no air conditioning.
Despite this, friendly and polyglot welcome.
Restaurant closed during this night....

Malposta stop on the Camino. Newish hotel in the style of a Premier Inn. Roadside stop. Clean room , pleasant reception staff. No mini bar, hotel bar not open on a a Sunday, no access to reasonable food or drink close by. Restaurant next door very good But expensive for most Camino travellers. Worst thing was no air conditioning - and explanation was that the system could only deal with hot or cold and even though it was 22 degrees they had switched it to winter ( heating only) setting.
Very poor place to stay unless you are desperate.

Good Morning In fact it was 22 during the day BUT 10 Āŗ at night therefore is a little difficult do decide the system. In fact the restaurant next door us very good, where on also have a bar. Again sorry but the room has minibar. But ā€œpoor placeā€ ā€“ sorry Sr but the huge majority of your guest doesnā€™t feel this way, nevertheless we respect it. A comment is always a comment, in the same day we have a lot of comments saying the opposite. JoĆ£o Vieira, manager

The stay was excellent, and once you know your way around, it easy to access Porto and environs by bus. The pool and workout areas are well kept and open long hours. The high point of my stay aside from the staff, was the substantial breakfast that is offered. It also was a centre of focus for socializing.

Our room was at the front with a small balcony. Large room with double, large single beds and a sofa with plenty of hanging space. The fridge worked, and everything was clean with large TV.The staff in reception, the bar and the breakfast area were very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. They even arranged for us to watch the six nations rugby match live in the bar. It's worth watching how the gin and tonics are made in the hotel bar too! We stayed in March and the hotel bar did not open until 4pm but we were directed to the restaurant next door which was packed full of locals who were eating on Saturday for a lunchtime drink. The food there was also excellent and our very large group was made very welcome for a late night meal even though the kitchen was about to close.
The negative point for us was the location was a little too far away from the congress and the town centre, but taxis were not expensive and reception staff were happy to help out with obtaining them. Also the heating is very efficient far too warm in the room for Northern Europeans and the cleaning staff always seemed to change our cooler settings each day. Better to be too warm than cold though! The congress centre has no public transport facilities. The castle is worth a visit a cheap taxi ride from the hotel. It is a little far from Porto but there is a local bus from the town,ā‚¬3.60 one way. We took a taxi in and a bus back. Very good value for the money on everything.

We were booked into this hotel by a friend who was getting married.
There were a few of us staying and we all had a pleasant experience here.
The breakfast buffet is generous and is open for a good amount of time in the morning.
The staff were both friendly and helpful despite the hotel being busy during the medieval festival period.
The rooms are pretty standard and comfortable.
It is a distance from Porto, but this wasn't a problem for us. Just make sure you have access to a car and you should be fine :)

It's a real good price for the stay and what you get. Firstly I must refer the bad points. It's distant from Porto (about 25min by car). It's a little outdated, The breakfast is a little scarce. And that's it.
On the other hand it has great features. A lot of space to park. Spacious rooms (we were 2 adults+2 children, and slept confortably). Friendly employees. Inside pool with warm water. Jacuzzi (my kids loved it). A reasonably equiped gym. Nice bar. Restaurant adjacent to hotel. Quiet zone. Very low price.
