Inflated prices per height of the Medieval Fair, where the price/quality ratio leaves much to be desired. Small room and expensive drinks. There are better options if booked in advance. I just went to this one because the others were already busy. Do not recommend.

Fit-for purpose (short overnight stay). Good road access (highway cross nearby), easily accessible. Budget option to (short) region exploration, including town of Porto. Nothing fancy, offering the needed bed-and-shower. Small pool, free parking, plenty of open space.

It's a budget hotel, so don't expect every surface to be sparkling new (the place has the feel of a revamped 1970s building). But it's clean and the beds are extremely comfortable. It's a bit like IKEA in that everything has been carefully planned to maximise value. Breakfast was absolutely brilliant, with much more choice than you'd normally find in a Portuguese hotel and little touches like being able to juice oranges instead of drinking the vile reconstituted stuff that's usually on offer. We got a really excellent night's sleep and will definitely come here again as a stopover from Porto airport. The nearby village has a surprising number of excellent restaurants.

This is a gem of a hotel. Room are basic, but extremely clean. There’s a good size television in the room and the bed linen is crisp and white. Staff are very welcoming and it’s an excellent breakfast. It is truly excellent value for money. Well done!

Very good and calm hotel. Ideal for business trips or transit. Huge wonderful parking in front of the hotel for free. Very good service. Small but very comfortable rooms as usual in all Ibis in Portugal

My partner and I stayed in the Hotel ibis Porto Sul Europarque for 4 nights in August. We were injured on holiday in a motorway rental car accident and were discharged from hospital with nowhere to go. Thankfully the local police sent us to the Hotel ibis Europarque. We spent 4 nights in the Hotel Ibis, negotiating with our insurance company to return home to London. All the staff in the hotel were extremely kind and helpful to us during this very difficult time. The hotel does not usually offer Room Service but kindly brought dinner to our room on the first night as we were so unwell. The manager Rui Cruz in particular provided an excellent service to us – over and above the expectations of his role as hotel manager. He helped me negotiate with the local hospital and a local doctor to try and obtain medical reports, spoke to the insurance company on my behalf and was generally very helpful and supportive to me. Without his help we would probably still be in Portugal instead of at home in London. I cannot praise him and his staff highly enough. The hotel accommodation and service were excellent and we were sorry not to be able to use the very inviting outdoor pool. The Ibis chain is very fortunate to have such high calibre staff working for them.

We have traveled with my wife to Porto and decided to stay in this hotel just simply because of the price. The biggest issue with this hotel is the location... It's just terrible. We traveled without car and faced a huge issue. Closest village is 25 min walk from which you can access to the bus which goes 40 min to Porto. Issue with the bus is that the latest bus from Porto goes from central bus station at 8PM or 7PM depends on the week day. When you arrive back from Porto, usually it's already dark outside and while you're walking from the village to the hotel there are no area at the road for pedestrians!! You should be extremely careful walking through the night by the road to access to the hotel. We were really scared of being hit by the car, but thanks God Portuguese drivers seems to be careful and were slowing down seeing us. We had this exercise 3 days. This hotel is just to oversleep and not for travelling without car. We were spending about 20 EUR per day on travelling to Porto and back to the hotel. So don't be fooled by price, overpay a little and stay in Porto. You will spend more money if you stay in Ibis Porto Sul Europarque.

The most important that seems hotel doesn't really care of travelers without car.

About the room - quite old Ibis style plastic room. Nothing really to mention. The hotel is just to have a clean bed and somewhat bathroom.

Ibis are pretty straight forward... simple, basic and perfect for the one night stay.

This Ibis stands out for me for a few reasons.

The setting is virtually silent, set well away from the road and surrounded by trees. The pool area is lovely to sit by. The breakfast... is in truth 300% better than I was expecting.
Great choice of products, including nata, artisan breads, honey, yoghurt, etc.. also make your own fresh orange juice. The coffee caters for both tastes,.. one machine for weaker larger coffees.. and a true espresso machine for Portuguese coffee.
The rooms a very simple, a little tired, but perfectly clean.
What more could you want for around €60 per room per night.

It's a budget hotel, so don't expect to much but IBIS level. It's clean and the beds are extremely comfortable. The nearby village has a surprising number of excellent restaurants. The hotel is a little dated, it has a reasonably-sized breakfast area, small bar with seating space, and a pool. The staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay again if in need of accommodation around the area, good value for money.
