I stayed in Keramos for 3 nights. The hostel is operated by Mr Ramazan and his wife. It has 4 rooms and has a nice garden patio. My room was very clean and even had its own balcony. Ramazan is a supporter of Lycian hiking route and knows the trails around Finike inside out. He arranged our transfers to the start and the end of each trail. The transfers and his knowledge of the trail was very helpful. He also have a lot of hints and stories for each trail. The hotel is 100 meters from the beach. This is a very clean place and it provides the best value for money in Finike. I will definitely recommend this hotel especially for trekkers and hikers. The garden canopy is surrounded by grape vines. But it is not recommended to step on a chair and pick the grapes as Ramazan himself had fell off and broke his arm just a week before we arrived while he was picking grapes for his guests.

Very handy for lycian way hikers as the owner Ramazan comes out to the trail to meet you in his car! It's a basic but super clean and reasonably priced pension. Rooms have a nice balcony and very handy washing line. Good breakfast and I also had a lovely home cooked evening meal there. It has a slightly unconventional layout in that to get to the rooms you have to pass through the family living/dining/kitchen area, which was always occupied by several family members. So in a way it does feel like you're in somebody elses house. Some people may find it not quite private enough. For those hikers continuing onto Mavikent it's a very short walk to the main road. And if you're skipping this next section there is the dolmus stop very near.

The temperature was not that much warm in this very local pansion in Feb. But it is not easy to find a local place with a central heating. This is how the region of Akdeniz of Turkey in winter. You can get a bit cold not always but honestly you'll find a friendly and warm guy who won't try to cheat you intentionally. Because, it's not easy find people honest people in the area. The owner Ramazan Bey is always helpful, and serves free tea for you. I would try for one night, and remember to visit ancient city Limyra in the morning which is 5 km far.

The owner was welcoming and helpful but the room never warmed up and neither did the bed! The common area was lovely and heated by a soba, but the owner was a little too present, and we could never really relax and just hang.

When travelling on our bike along the Lycian coast, we could not find easily a pension. Biking along the boulevard, suddenly a car stopped and a man and woman asked us if we were looking for a room. Somehow Turkish people smell this. They were looking Ok and were offering a room for 40 Lira, breakfast 10 Lira for two people. This is not the rock bottom price, but verry cheap anyway. At their home they offered us to cook for us and we enjoyed the meal together. Although this pension is not very sexy and near to the city centre it was very worthwile, friendly and with Turkish people you can always find a solution because after "hello" the second most know word is "no problem".
