Nestled near Yalikavak with breathtaking views, The Bodrum EDITION is lauded for providing a luxurious and comfortable retreat. Its well-appointed rooms and immaculate facilities are a hit among guests, although a few have noted issues with temperature and cleaning regularity. The hotel's array of amenities, including a stylish gym, spa, and beach area, alongside its exceptional dining experiences, receive high marks. Patrons particularly appreciate the warm and attentive service that enhances their stay. However, while the value of dining is celebrated, some find the cost of drinks and certain services steep.

I was delighted to meet Alexandra who truly embodies the most gracious & thoughtful hospitality spirit. She made my stay personable & went out of her way to interact with guests with the most care. She’s hands down the best part of this hotel!

- Hotel Pros: Views & crystal clear water, incredible spread for breakfast comp’d for elites (very generous benefit), nice touches like wooden hangers on the beach for coverups, pristine property — everything is very new & well kept with lots of communal outdoor spaces, small hotel in terms of # of rooms/ guests (beach/pool never felt over crowded), felt very safe as a solo female (security stops all cars coming in), staff make a point to get to know you & remember your name, golf carts came fairly quickly to transport you up & down the hill, WiFi was reliable everywhere on property including the beach

- Hotel Cons: Smoking everywhere which was difficult to avoid being down-wind from on the beach / at restaurants on property (even for breakfast), very high drink prices (coming from a New Yorker who also frequents Hawaii & the Caribbean), was emailed before arrival and offered a suite upgrade for €2K/night but the hotel wouldn’t grant a complimentary upgrade (titanium status & birthday stay) so I was just in the most basic room despite trying to also use NUAs/SNAs, no full length mirror in room, it is a family friendly hotel so there are some children running around (not adults only), concierge is contracted with 1 yacht company so they can’t recommend anything else tours wise

I would be remiss if I didn’t also call out the A/C issues. I had confirmed with the hotel prior to my arrival that rooms would cool to 19 degrees C, but at least where the bed is positioned in my room, that area really only got to 21-22 degrees C at nighttime. The hotel didn’t really do much to solve this but they brought a stand up fan to help with air circulation. I get they were fully booked for the time period, but was disappointed because I had in writing before my arrival confirmation on the bedroom temperate which didn’t pan out, at least in the room I was in. Overall I don’t think the hotel is at all worth the €1,600+ nightly rate advertised (just for no view entry level rooms), but for half that price / if you get a deal on points it is nice! I personally wouldn’t come back as I felt as though there was an easy service recovery that could have been made for the A/C issues and no one solved that or checked back in (at first an email of mine actually went unanswered for 12+ hours and I had to track down someone from the front desk).

Dear PinkKT, Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed and thoughtful review of your stay with us. I’m delighted to hear that Alexandra made such a lasting impression on your experience—she truly embodies the spirit of hospitality we strive for, and I will be sure to pass along your kind words to her. Your compliments on our property’s views, breakfast offerings, and attentive staff are much appreciated. It’s wonderful to know that these aspects made your stay enjoyable. We take great pride in creating a welcoming and comfortable environment, especially for our elite guests, and we’re pleased that you felt safe and well-cared-for during your visit. I’m also grateful for your constructive feedback regarding areas where we can improve. Your observations about smoking, drink pricing, and the limited yacht tour options have been duly noted, and we will certainly review these aspects to see how we can enhance our offerings. Regarding the air conditioning issue, I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you experienced. I completely understand your frustration, especially after receiving prior confirmation of your preferred room temperature. It’s disappointing to hear that our efforts did not meet your expectations, and I regret that our team wasn’t able to follow up more effectively to resolve the matter. Your feedback highlights the importance of timely communication, and I will ensure that this is addressed with the team to prevent future occurrences. We greatly value your loyalty and regret that we were unable to provide the level of service you deserved during such an important stay. While I understand your decision not to return, we would love the opportunity to welcome you back and provide a more seamless and enjoyable experience. Thank you once again for your candid feedback, and should you decide to give us another chance, please feel free to reach out to me directly so I can personally ensure your stay exceeds expectations. Warm Regards, Alena Sergi DIRECTOR OF QUALITY

Bodrum Edition has become my place of strength, inspiration and the greatest possible comfort.

I travel a lot and know what good service is. But it was not just good service, it was amazing, the best service and approach to the client in my life. From the very first minutes, I had the feeling that I was a special guest, that they were waiting for me and most importantly, the people working at Edition were happy to do their job. It energizes you so much! Everyone who works at the hotel, from cleaning to managers, is very beautiful, natural, athletic, well-groomed, positive, easy-going. It's like you're in a special club :)

About the hotel itself: everything is very new, of excellent quality, everything is very tactile and the ergonomics of the room are thought out to the smallest detail. I had a Sea View room with an amazing terrace. I wanted to watch sunsets there and drink coffee with their amazing almond-tangerine cookies, which are complimentary upon arrival. Beautiful Le Labo cosmetics, a special personalized line for Edition.

If you check in early, you will be very comfortable in their cool snow-white SPA: leave your things in a drawer, change clothes, take a shower, everything is very convenient there. And go to the beach.
The beach at Edition is one of the best in Bodrum. White fine sand, emerald clear water, pleasant even entry into the water. Soft, comfortable sunbeds, and what I want to note: the staff on the beach immediately lays out a bunch of towels for you, hangs your clothes on a hanger, and carefully brushes the sand off the sunbeds throughout your entire stay on the beach. These are all little things, but they are so pleasant!

The hotel area is very green, everywhere there is a delicious smell of pine needles and flowers. In the main restaurant, where breakfasts are held, aromatic herbs are planted, very atmospheric! The breakfasts are excellent: there is a Turkish breakfast option when they bring you a little bit of everything (cheeses, delicious bread, national bagels and buns, fruits, fresh herbs, etc.) and you can also choose any dishes from the menu or ask for whatever you want (avocado, etc.) . Very good coffee and properly prepared in the right cups. Everything is fast and clear. The restaurant has a magnificent view. Down by the beach there are also very good restaurants that take into account all your wishes. There are a lot of pleasant little things: cookies with chocolate are served with coffee, which is simply delicious.
In the evening I highly recommend the Kitchen restaurant.

I thank Sibel, Goksel, Alexandra and the entire team of what is now my favorite hotel from the bottom of my heart! You made my vacation a real holiday!

This is by far the best stay I’ve ever had. The whole staff is lovely. They understand social cues, they know when to talk to you and when to be left alone. I can assure you the entire staff will ensure their guests have a memorable stay and create a welcoming atmosphere.I speak English and did not have a hard time communicating with anyone during my stay. The room (larger suite with private pool) was as clean as can be and nothing was out of place. Edition flip flops, bathrobes, bath salts, toothbrushes & paste, water in cartons not plastic, black out blinds, outside sitting areas, inside sitting areas this room has it all even a marble steam room. Complimentary yoga 2x a day, workout room w/ everything you’d need, sandy beach and infinity pool. The Kitchen Restaurant is a must try for their Turkish breakfast. Thank you for my lovely stay

Our Experience at the Bodrum Edition Hotel

Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed, and the staff was friendly. Our room was spacious and airy, providing a comfortable environment. However, we were disappointed with the housekeeping service. The cleaning was incomplete—ice buckets and tables on the terrace were left uncleaned, and fresh towels were placed without removing the used ones. Despite reporting that our room hadn’t been cleaned throughout the day, we were persistently told that it would only be done by the team starting at 6 PM, which was quite frustrating.

At breakfast, despite multiple reminders, our drink orders either arrived late or not at all, which dampened the experience. However, the breakfast spread was excellent and of high quality. It was evident that the end-of-season fatigue had affected the staff, and their lack of enthusiasm was noticeable, which left me uncomfortable.

The hotel’s fitness center was well-equipped and functional, which was a positive highlight. I would also like to extend my gratitude to Mr. Mert, who promptly fixed the issue with our room’s automatic blinds. The Italian restaurant had a delightful menu, and the food was outstanding. The beach and infinity pool were also lovely and provided a serene escape.

In terms of location, the hotel is perfectly situated, and its proximity to Yalıkavak Marina is a significant advantage.

A special thank you to Mr. Kaan from Guest Relations, who was attentive and kind during our checkout, making the departure experience smooth and pleasant.

Dear 190fikretc, Thank you for sharing such a detailed account of your stay with us. While I'm pleased to hear that you enjoyed aspects like the room, fitness center, location, and dining experiences, I sincerely apologize for the shortcomings you encountered, particularly with housekeeping and the breakfast service. Your feedback regarding the delayed cleaning and incomplete service is certainly concerning, and I understand how frustrating it must have been. This is not the standard we strive to provide, and I will be addressing these issues with the respective teams to ensure improvements are made. It’s reassuring to know that Mert was able to assist you promptly with your room’s blinds, and I’m glad Khagan left a positive impression during your departure. I will make sure to pass along your kind words to both of them. Your constructive feedback is invaluable to us as we continuously strive to enhance the guest experience, and I hope you will give us the opportunity to welcome you back in the future for a stay that is seamless from beginning to end. This hotel is the best in Bodrum, they have the best professional staff I have ever seen, I came here with my husband and my 3 years old daughter and I can’t believe the amount of care, attention to details and love that we received, Tugce from the breakfast area made sure that my daughter gets a special donut breakfast everyday morning on time, she was very nice and even one day she got her gift that my daughter cherish everyday, till this day my daughter still remember her kindness and she always ask me to go back to Bodrum to visit Tugce..

The interior of the hotel is amazing, the beach and the pool were clean and beautiful, you will have a very breathtaking view from your bedroom and the best room service, I kept ordering Turkish coffee with Turkish delight every afternoon. And I was surprised on my last day in the hotel that the guest experience agent Beyza noticed that and she got me Turkish delight box and Turkish coffee bag so I can enjoy them back home ! I was really touched by her kindness, warm heart and amazing attention..

Surely, I came to Bodrum 4 times and this was the unforgettable one because of the hotel.

Please note that the location of the hotel is 5 mins away from the Yalikavak.

It means the world to us that our team was able to make your visit truly special. We’re also delighted that you enjoyed the breathtaking views, the comfort of your room, and the personalized room service that made your afternoons with Turkish coffee and Turkish delight a cherished ritual. The Edition in Bodrum is great. The property is very modern and zen in keeping with the Edition brand. The beach area is wonderful, calm, quiet. Pool is great too. The service at the Edition is exceptional all around. Great gym for my morning workouts before relaxing at the beach all day. The 1 star Michelin restaurant, The Kitchen, is fabulous, we highly recommend! Included breakfast is delicious with a big selection.
Our only knock on the property is that the beach/pool menu is a bit limited and quite expensive for what it is. Our tip: get up, work out, eat a late breakfast (around 10:30/11 am), then enjoy the beach or pool. If you have snacks of your own you can nibble in the room around 5-6 pm to hold you over until a 8 pm dinner somewhere.

Let's get one thing out of the way first. This is a monsterously expensive hotel. Everything is expensive. You can get 80% of the experience for a fraction of the price elsewhere. So, manage your expectations accordingly.

So, with that out of the way - let's talk about the property first. It's beautifully located along a thin and gorgeous strip of sand in a beautiful and calm bay, with rooms perched along the steep topography up to the beautiful entrance lobby. There are very steep buggy paths and numerous stairs to get around the property, and buggy service is always swift and efficient. We stayed in a large king room with sofa bed, which was huge and well appointed. Everything was modern and well designed, with the only detail missing was the ability to cast personal devices to the TV, it wasn't functional at the time of this review so we were unable to watch the Eurocup final on the big screen. A minor detail.

A key detail, however, was the engineering for the rooms, temps were close to 40c and rooms got to a comfortably cool temperature for sleep easily, which was the first hotel in turkey to cope with the excessive heat in the couple weeks prior. Bravo for that!

The pool and beach area are beautiful, comfortable and well staffed. I would have preferred the pool to be a little cooler given the excessive heat but the sea was a perfect temperature to cool off, and the sand was lovely.

The food for breakfast and lunch was top notch and dinner at the Kitchen was superb, best dining experience we've had in Turkey and would return for that alone. Room service was fast and well prepared, very good for room service! We didn't try the Italian or Japanese restaurant as we went into the surrounding towns to try more local food. We also skipped the Spa.

But the real standout, honestly speaking, was the service and the staff. Seriously top shelf. The hotel is nice, but wouldn't rank in my top 10 nicest by any stretch, but the people and level of service, and details of the service, were absolutely top 3 experiences. They are really what made this an exceptional stay and, to my budget, well worth it. From the room cleaning including cable organization, to the incredible front of house staff at every touch point. Can't speak highly enough - bravo to the team, you all work so hard to make the stay special and you succeeded in every way. Special shout out to Aleksandra!

So in summary, this hotel isn't for everyone and that's fine. If you've got the budget to not worry about price, than this is a perfect home base to explore wonderful Bodrum.

My time at the hotel was nothing short of extraordinary. I loved the hotel’s minimalist design, which felt chic and welcoming. My room was spacious and beautifully appointed. The private infinity pool was the perfect touch.

As a foodie, the dining options stood out—every meal blended local flavors with modern creativity. Kitchen by Osman Sezener was a stand-out experience. I especially loved spending time at the beach club.

The spa was another highlight. The treatments were heavenly, and the traditional Turkish hammam was an experience I’ll never forget. Whether I wanted to unwind or soak up the lively atmosphere, The Bodrum Edition exceeded my expectations at every turn. It’s a place I’d return to in a heartbeat.
