The Bodrum EDITION is located just 3 kilometers from Yalikavak Marina at the western point of the Bodrum peninsula in Yalikavak Bugula, Bodrum, Turkey. End of October 2019, we got wed at the Edition in Bodrum. This is equally a great time to visit and enjoy the beach. Let me start of by saying that this was a vacation experience unparalleled to any we have had before. I am not saying this solely as it was our wedding, the service, people, and beauty of the Edition is truly exceptional. Special thanks must be extended to Nilufer Lafis, who is an amazing event organizer. A few words on the Edition, the cleanliness, accessibility to the sea (private beach), spa, gym, restaurants are all fantastic; this is a true luxury hotel. Nothing more beautiful than enjoying a great brunch while overlooking the entire bay. The staff really make a difference with their friendliness and professionalism. We almost felt depressed returning from this great vacation and would like to thank the entire staff at the Edition for this wonderful experience.…

Amazing hotel and staff made our perfect wedding
My wife and I chose the Bodrum Edition as the place to get married in September and it was one of the best decisions we ever made. We spent a long time looking for the perfect venue all over Europe and we frequently were disappointed by either the venues or the staff that worked there. From the moment that we contacted the Bodrum Edition and Irina in particular, who planned our whole wedding, our experience couldn’t have been better. Irina gave my wife and I a very good feeling from our initial interaction which continued all the way to the wedding day. Nothing was too much trouble and it felt like anything that we wanted was possible. Planning a wedding overseas is more difficult but Irina dealt with everything and the wedding was the most amazing day! The hotel is stunning and the staff are all a pleasure to deal with and have the same attitude that nothing is too much trouble. We were upgraded to an amazing suite which overlooked the bay and was bigger that our house! The Turkish breakfast is amazing and available pretty much all day which means lots of lazy mornings! We requested the overwater cabanas as the place for our wedding dinner which I think is the first time the hotel have done a wedding there. It was the most amazing place to do it and again Irina arranged it all even making sure she was there until late in evening of the wedding to ensure everything was perfect just as she had planned. Overall I would highly recommend the Bodrum Edition as it is a stunning hotel with amazing staff. A truly unique hotel & experience, from the wonderfully friendly staff to the beautiful beach to the most delicious breakfasts! The traditional Turkish breakfast is a must! If you’re lucky enough to try the Gab Foods brunch, you don’t want to miss it! Healthy delicious & so beautifully displayed. Love how knowledgeable the staff was & how friendly & attentive they were. Never felt so at home at a hotel! Special shout-out to Oliver ( Director of F&B) for taking extra special care of me & my friends, we absolutely loved the bloody mary bar cart ;) The beach is absolutely stunning, it was my fav area to relax, enjoy a delicious ice cream treat & a cocktail- even got some work done as well! Cabanas are wifi friendly :) Roula was amazing & made sure i had the best seat in the sun. If you get a chance, definitely check out the spa! Can’t recommend it enough. Stayed for 2 nights , wish I could more ! It’s an amazing property . Designed in class as all Editions hotels , incredible hotel staff they are really exceeding all your expectations. Well trained and most importantly they aimed to create emotional connection with all guests . Mr Ali Ertugrul who is the Guest Services Manager was really helpful from the start all the way to the end of our experiences , true hospitality individual I must say . Was happy to meet and have him as connection moving forward. Want to highlight Firuze beautiful smily firuze :) I will never forget the time she approaches to me and my sister with a cup of her favorite tea while we were sitting by the beach .you even more appreciate if you have a sore throat problems and someone just randomly shows up with a warm heart , offering you a delicious tea:) love everything about this place ! I can’t list everyone’s name but all food &beverage team and front office team was absulet Gem ! Can’t wait to go back next year . …

I do not know what the separate cost of the breakfast is as it was part of the room rate. But I can honestly say that it is the most wonderful breakfast ever!

Will all of the restaurants on property be open from September 23rd to September 26th?
Dear Michael R, Morena, BRAVA and Kitchen at The Bodrum EDITION are all open until 30th of September. BRAVA's last day for the season will be 30th of September, however, Morena and Kitchen will still remain open. We look forward to welcoming you at EDITION!

Definitely go to have dinner at maca kizi hotel and to miam restaurant (especially on a friday night) both in turkbuku.

What is the best way to book a transfer? Direct with the hotel? Or get a taxi from the airport? Do you need to hire a car to explore the local town or can you walk easily from the hotel? Thank you!!
Hi Milymead, We didn't book through the hotel because higher fare. Booked via Airports Taxi Transfers. I didn't hire a car. we used Uber which found more handy and convenient. local taxis also very cheap and honest in terms of fare. Taxi fare around 4 euro oneway to local town. Enjoy!!

Also, What are the prices like for dinner/ lunch/ drinks etc (coming from the UK). Has anyone done a half borad or is this not availabe here? Thank you!
Alcohol is very expensive in Turkey so the bill goes up quickly when you have a bottle of wine. However there are good Turkish wines as well which are half the price of international wine. One bottle of Turkish wine is between 320- 380 Turkish Lira. Price for food in this property is of course higher than average but much below prices in the UK.. I would say a 3 course meal for one person is between 80-100Euro. I am not familiar with half board, don't think they offer it...breakfast is included and you have a very big breakfast menu and what I likes most was that it is served til 4pm indeed
