We booked this hotel through Imagine Latin America. It was a lovely hotel with nice staff, but the standards just slightly missed the mark considering the cost. The room we had on our first visit at the beginning of our honeymoon was lovely - no 14 (or 13 if you have a look at the fire route map!) and we'd...

The Nuss is a small hotel (21 rooms), which was originally a convent and it is located in a slightly up-market area of Buenos Aires. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby - the hotel itself does not have a restaurant, but does provide a buffet breakfast. The staff are helpful and welcoming and the rooms are large and...

I enjoyed my stay at the Nuss Buenos Aires hotel. We had a large room on the corner of the street with a balcony. The A/C worked really well and the beds were plush and comfortable. The pool and lounge area on the roof was very elegant although it lacked shade and meant we couldn't hang out for very long....

I spent four nights in total here: 2 at the beginning of my stay and 2 at the end. I had two different rooms: Room 37 - on the third floor which has a balcony but no view Room 15 on the first floor which has three windows overlooking the cross streets. Both rooms were well appointed, clean and well...

Very gracious hotel and reasonably quiet considering bars and clubs across road. Room was lovely very designer minimal and again as with so many hotels now the lighting inadequate. Breakfast pretty ordinary and although scheduled to start 0730 much of the food did not come out until later. Pool a huge disappointment certainly not a swimming pool as it is...

The Nuss is a very nice hotel in the heart of Palermo, a neighbourhood I really liked in Buenos Aires. It is not too big, but has a lovely boutique feel about it. Our room was very spacious and light, with all the comforts needed, including very useful plugs that could suit both American and European chargers, which was really...

We had a great stay at Nuss on our last night in Buenos Aires. The location was exactly where we wanted to be in Palermo Soho and our room had a nice view and window that opened to the street. The concierge was very accommodating when we asked for help with packaging our wine to the fly to the US...

We stayed in the Nuss Hotel for 1 night. It is perfectly located in the middle of Palermo surrounded by nice restaurants and shops. The stuff was outstanding helpful. The receptionist helped us in making reservations and booking activities. We received a complimentary upgrade to a suite. There is a free sundowner on the rooftop every evening. Overall a great...

Nuss hotel is a small and very modern hotel in the popular Palermo district. It is located on the corner of El Salvador, which is a busy road. We stayed 3 nights in a large corner suite with a good bed and spacious bathroom. There is a top floor terrace with swimming pool, although this pool is very small. Breakfast...

After having checked out the Vain boutique hotel and the Nuss hotel in Palermo, here are some pros and cons: Vain - the quieter location. Rooms face inside, into a courtyard, which means your are more sheltered from street noises. On the other side, you also don't get much direct light, i.e. my room only got day light through the...

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
