We had an excellent stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated. The staff was wonderful. The staff was also very helpful In finding us food during the quarantine. They also helped us to find a taxi to take us to the airport. Housekeeping was very friendly and helped when we needed something.
Excellent location and very friendly, helpful staff! Room was very clean, large and newly renovated. Loved that flip flops were provided. Breakfast was adequate, however a hard boiled egg could have been provided.
The location doesn’t get better- all the wishes I had were fulfilled here in regards to the location- 15-20min walk from/to the bus terminal from Tienda Leon from EZE; close to Plaza de Mayo with several subte and many bus lines departed within 3-5min walk. It’s also close to the Puerto Madero Parks and food trucks so the hustle and bustle of the city is really on one site and the quiet of the park on the other. I was able to check-in early (around noon) and the room itself was a River View room and very spacious. Definitely worth paying a bit more. One big plus is the fact that you can open the windows and even though there is obviously street noise during the day, it wasn’t a problem to sleep with the window a bit open during the night to let the fresh air come in. The room itself was very clean and modern. Same goes for the bathroom. The only little detail that didn’t really fit to the style was the shower curtain- a glass door would have been nicer but that’s complaining at the highest level. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this hotel to my friends and family if they ever need a place to stay in BA. …
Great location, within easy walking distance of the port restaurants and the Plaza de Mayo. About 30 minute walk from the Buquebus ferry terminal. Within walking distance of some of the tango shows. Great staff. Easy checkin and checkout. Breakfast is fine. Loved the minibar prices. Never seen a hotel with such reasonable minibar prices. Nice, clean, modern. We'd stay there again.
We booked this hotel for 3 nights in Buenos Aires before starting a 2-week organized tour of Argentina and Chile. The Own Madero was less expensive and at least as comfortable as the Buenos Aires hotel where we started our tour. It is as advertised: clean, comfortable, with good breakfast and good wifi, centrally located close to the Puerto Madero tourist area, and within easy walking distance of the Plaza de Mayo and other central tourist sites. All the staff were helpful and friendly, and Diana and Sebastian at the front desk deserve special thanks for helping us with various issues, including booking last-minute tours and answering our many questions about Buenos Aires. A great start to our trip.
