This hotel is advertised as 4 Star but 3 stars would be a more accurate description. The rooms are clean and quite large but very basic. The bathrooms are tiny and the kitchen has no cutlery, cooking equipment or jug to make a hot drink. The gym and pool are very basic. The restaurant is more of a basic dining room that overlooks a blank wall. The service is inconsistent. I lost my credit card and the company arranged for delivery of a new one. After they confirmed with the hotel that the courier package would be accepted it was extremely inconvenient to find on the day of delivery reception refused to accept the package leaving me with no card for the rest of my trip. The location is central but the neighbourhood is not safe to walk around at night. I guess the fact the hotel only allow entry by the doorman unlocking the door day and night is a good indicator of the safety in the neighbourhood. We moved after a week to a new hotel. For only a small amount more we were able to find a much nicer hotel with excellent facilities and staff and in a safer neighbourhood. …
We stayed at this hotel on three separate occasions during a 3 week trip. It is a good standard tourist hotel, very well located for exploring Buenos Aires and accessible to lots of great places to eat. We had three different rooms. The first two could be described as suites with separate sitting area, fridge and microwave. These rooms were rather tired although the standard of cleanliness was high. Our final room had been modernised with the sitting area combined with the sleeping area but did not have the microwave. Single beds were rather narrow but very comfortable. In all rooms the showers were excellent. Breakfast is a good quality and typically Argentinian - a nice selection of fruit and much in the way of sweet pastries and cakes. We did not sample main meals in the restaurant as there was so much variety and good quality in the vicinity. The front desk staff were excellent and we must make special mention of Leandro and German who were especially helpful and friendly.…
We stayed for 2 nights over Christmas. The staff were excellent, friendly, spoke good English and were always happy to help and give recommendations. The breakfast was more than adequate. We ate in the hotel one evening and food was tasty and the wine was fab. Would recommend for a short 2-3 day break in Buenos Aires.
Staying at the Broadway hotel for a couple of days. It is a centrally located hotel a few meters from tbe obelisk. It is on a main road so if you are a light sleeper i would ask for a room on the higher floor (i was on the fourth floor). Breakfast is ok with the usual hot and cold items. The rooms are very large. My only issue with the hotel is that the rooms are looking to be a bit dated. Rooms were cleaned daily. Reception staff was very helpful and spoke excellent English.
I can name two good reasons to stay at this hotel. 1) The location is good in central Buenos Aires and 2) The service at the front desk and in the restaurant is very good. The interior design is quite useless with a bizarre tv-tower/sound system taking up acres of space in the room. The bathroom was old and worn down. The pool on the rooftop was under service and did not look anything like the picture. The breakfast is ordinary, the cleaning personel kept knocking at the door, the elevators are always busy.
