Travel agent friend told me about this hidden gem. Inexpensive yet well located in Recoleta across from the cemetery and mall. We could walk to all the main sights and walking tours from this location. The check in clerks are very friendly and helpful. Let us check in early, which was greatly appreciated. The apartment had all the basic amenities and furniture but was well lit and very clean. If you want an Uber, go down the block to order as you can't order from the hotel location. Would definitely stay here again. In fact, almost everyone we ran into in the lobby were repeat guests.

Despite a bit of a messy check in process where we were kept waiting for about 30 mins before I approached the lady to be told that she had forgotten about us! We ended up enjoying our stay here.
Our room was clean and comfortable, though we opted not to pay the extra for daily room clean/towel change etc. The hotel is well located very close to Recoleta Cemetery and is around the corner from some good bars and restaurants. There is also a small pool at the back which is available for guests to use.
Staff only seem to work 09:00 to 17:00 so if you have an issue in the evening or arrive late for check in I'm not sure what you do.
You gain entry to the building through a QR code on your phone - so make sure that your battery doesn't run out!

This was a very nice hotel to stay in while traveling to Buenos Aires. It was well maintained and in a great location near lots of restaurants and shopping. The employees only work day time hours, so there is not a lot of service available if you need it.

Please don't stay here unless you are in a pinch! The service at this place is awful, it was sooo awesome to check out and move to the Palermo Area. This is what I'm basing my review on:
1. We arrived at around 1PM and upon check-in we were buzzed into the building. The front desk guy "Adrian" looked at us like we owed him something and didn't bother to say "welcome" nothing. I finally said, Hi we are staying here for the next two days and we are checking in. He still didn't answer me, I gave him my passport and credit card and he proceeded to process. I'm latin american so I speak solid spanish and when I tried to talk to him he looked at me bewildered. In a nutshell he was an a-hole!
2. The TV didn't work, the air was broken, the tv remote control stopped working 2 hours into being there, the bathroom smelled like old pee.
3. The bathroom was super underwhelming, now I understand why they don't highlight them in the website. The shower/tub had mold on the walls, yuck!
4. The space was perfectly fine and modern but once you took a closer look you realized it was cheaply furnitured.
5. Checking Out: HORRIBLE. We had a 5AM flight to El Calafate and we gave them a heads up about that.
When we came down at 3AM and checked out the idiot at the front desk had the same approach that "Adrian" had, I didn't catch his name as it was the only time I saw him. We had made a local call so I asked that all charges and incidentals be charged to the card on file. He didn't answer looked at me crazy and ran my card. He then murmmered something under his breadth, at this point I was at my wits end and I reiterated and gave him attitude back. I came to realize a couple of things, not only are the employees jerks but they are annoyed if you don't understand their local slang, I speak proper castellano and when I would ask for them to clarify something they were impatient.

I was glad to get the hell out of that place, I will never be back. I am currently writing this from El Calafate (our second stop of our trip) and staying at Design Suites, OMG this place is amazing, best place in town!

The location is the highlight: close not only to the Recoleta cemetery (and therefore easy to direct taxi drivers in BsAs: 'take me to Recoleta cemetery' but also close to parks, the Musee des Beaux Arts, Palermo etc.

Breakfast is delivered to room; you tick what you want on arrival, then each day call for breakfast and it arrives within 10 minutes. Breakfast is fair; we found tastier fare (especially oats, bread, juice) at the supermarket opposite.

A note on airport transportation in Buenos Aires:
I ordered an airport transfer back to Ezeiza airport from the hotel desk. This arrived on time and was good value (ARS 180) but it could have been better, since it was in an unmarked car with a large spiderweb crack in the windscreen. Getting from Ezeiza to the city centre was much more problematic. I hadn't looked into this before arriving. When I arrived I walked to a booth OUTSIDE Ezeiza airport arrivals (see photo attached), passing the half dozen men aggressively touting taxis. The booth was marked 'Taxi - Authorized Cars'. It looks like the official taxi booths you see in other cities (Delhi...) which help prevent tourists being ripped off. This booth was different. I told the man sitting in the booth I wanted to go to the centre of Buenos Aires. I gave him the hotel name and address. He wrote something on a piece of paper which he then gave TO ONE OF THE MEN TOUTING TAXIS! Instead of stopping there, I trusted the two men. The driver walked me to his black and yellow taxi parked >1 km away. He then drove me with the meter off to a place around the corner from the hotel. He then showed me the piece of paper the man at the booth had written, which said 'ARS 498'. This is outrageous: over USD 110, more than double the market rate. I paid. On my way out of BsAs I went back to the booth and asked him how much the same transfer should cost; he said ARS 170. Since he had five aggressive taxi drivers standing around his booth I decided not to get out my receipt and argue with him about the rip-off a week earlier.

In retrospect I would have ordered a return transfer from Taxi Ezeiza (http://www.taxiezeiza.com.ar/eng/) for ARS 190 out and ARS 170 back. Their blue and white booth is INSIDE the terminal building, after arrivals. (See their photo attached.)

We stayed here a total of three nights and I must say it was the most disturbed sleep ever. The noise from above was constant. Dragging of chairs and dropping of items all night long. Unfortunately after our trip back from Mendoza we had to stay here again due to pre booking. I was very reluctant but had no choice. I mentioned we needed a room high up to get away from the noise and we were promised. On our return sector this did not transpire and we were met by a rude staff member who's response to the problem was basically "if you don't like it go to another hotel" The walls are so thin you can even hear the elevator opening and closing all night long as well. I tried ear plugs but the noise was this bad it did not work well. The twin beds are very narrow, so for a guy who's is 185cms and 97 kgs they are too small. Location is good. But that's about it. I will not ever stay here again and definitely don't recommend anyone either if sleep is a priority.

This is my 5 trip to Bs As and have stayed at hotels from the Marriott in Calle Florida the Etoile in Recoleta they were always fine traditional hotel.

My favorite are in this city is Recoleta safe and the only area of th city that 95% of the sidewalk are not under perpetual disrepair
Bs As is a walking city and I love walking and sometimes it's a real challenge to negosiate a trip around the block because of the broken sidewalks missing tiles holes obstacles etc

The location of thus property couldn't be better regardless of your needs unless you want to be there in the business district for that reason.

You have some of the best restaurants and tourist attraction in the area and taxis been downright reasonable any area is accesible for less than a $10 Ride and sometimes much less.

If you are arriving to the Parqueaerio is just a short ride, the international airport is far from anywhere and may be a real chalange to get there depending on the time of day.
In the afternoon At rush hour allow yourself 1 1/2 to 2 hours to get ther from the city center

The rooms in hotel is an aparthotel very modern, well equiped and tastefully decorated with all the coviniences and not much lobby.

I was a little concerned because the price seems low for the area but this a great property well kept and clean with fantastic attention by all employees well informed about the city and always willing to help.

This apart-hotel had everything we needed for 10 days: a kitchenette, big space, comfortable bed, adequate bathroom, on time breakfast, tv with English speaking channels and even plugs adapted to American devices. It is located very conveniently near various bus stops to go all around the town. But I leave the best for last: the friendly and very helpful service of the personnel. They made a big difference for us. Gracias!
Here are a couple of tips for the travelers:
-Around the corner there is an "Blue-dollar" money exchange where they double pesos for your dollars (compared to the regular bank exchange) Ask at the counter for the address of the place.
-Bus rides are extremely cheap, just a few pesos (30-6- cents to the exchange) per person/per ride.A very convenient way to visit the town.
-Generous tips does not cost a lot in dollars. If you don't want to exchange all your dollars, keep plenty of 1s and 5s Dollar tips are very appreciated.
-On arriving to the airport, is not a bad idea to contract a round taxi fair. You get a good discount on your trip back from the hotel.

Traveled to Buenos Aires November 14th with my sister and could not be happier. We stayed at Ayres de Recoleta Plaza. The hotel is clean, nice, beautiful, close to lots of restaurants, located in the heart of Recoleta and the staff is superb. The pool is lovely and the breakfast is simple but really tasty.
The kitchen was one of the best parts of our trip, we saved tons of money just by cooking our dinner at the hotel.
In front of the hotel there's a supermarket, on the right there's a little accesories shop and on the left there's a Havanna store. A few steps and you're in front of Iglesia del Pilar and next to Buenos Aires Design. Also in front of the Hotel there's Lola Restaurant, a really nice one.
Well, I can say that Ayres de Recoleta Plaza really made our trip extra special!

The rooms are actually small apartments, with kitchenette and dining table, so it's very spacious for a hotel room.
Nice, modern, clean, quiet (rear side of hotel), reasonable manly priced, VERY helpful staff, I would definitely return.
Breakfast is interesting, you call reception, and five minutes later breakfast is delivered to your room.
They will store your luggage after you have checked out, no problem.

Definitely not a king size. I have a king size at home and this was smaller. Must have been a queen. Still enough for 2.

The hotel does not have airport transport. Taxis at BA airport are plentiful and cheap and take you direct to the door. The trip between Recoleta and the airport will take 30-40 minutes but up to an hour in busy traffic. I don't know about storing luggage. They seemed very amenable and helpful during our stay.
