Really great hostel, lovely staff, superb location as central but still with a feeling of authentic city life. The breakfast was really tasty, kitchen had everything you need and the terrace outside really nice for conversing. And a tv to watch the football!!!!

The price was great, so for that i am grateful, but other than that, the accommodations were lacking. Most of the beds were a bit uncomfortable and even a little bit dirty. I was there in winter, so the rooms got really cold, but the windows wouldn't close fully and there was no heater. The bathrooms were nasty, really dirty...

Small hostel with good prices, close to the city center and metro/bus stops to explore the city. Very good atmosphere, always packed with great people ! Good for short or long stay. Amazing staff always happy to help you and give you some advices !

The Garden House in BA, is a small little hostel, that is good for a 1-2 nights stay. Its very simple, but ok and clean, more like students standard. We stayed there in April 2012. The plus is the nice little roof terrace and upstairs there is a little a kitchen area for those how like to cook or make...

We stayed only one night, as the hostel was full the other day we wanted to be in BA. And we found a much better place to stay for a better price as well. The hostel is famous with backpackers, so you will have no problem finding people and fellow travellers to talk to. However the neighbourhood is a bit...

I don't really get most of the comments here! I mean this hostel is really bad!!! It's all dirty! My boyfriend even asked for the cleaning stuff to clean the toilet and being able to take a shower! Needs to be painted, the rooms on the first floor have almost non existing walls, there is a balcony which you can...

Had a great 4-night stay here. The room was large, bed was comfy and staff was friendly. Perfect for backpackers who are in the market for a more laid-back and less party-heavy hostel. It is a bit off the "real" San Telmo, but within walking distance from Microcentro and with two different subway lines running very close by. Best of...

We stayed five nights at Garden House, enjoyed it very much and would definitely stay there again. Top three: I) Very friendly and helpful staff, II) both balcony and roof terrace, and III) an extensive library. Feels like home.

Advertised as San Telmo but really more like Constitución, only about 3 blocks from the Constitución station, one of the most dangerous areas in the city. Basically don't cross the autopista on the other side of San Juan. Probably 6 blocks from I would actually consider San Telmo. The hostel was definitely friendly and a good way to meet other...

Stayed in this hostel for over a week. I chose it because it seemed less party attitude than some other hostel choices, I was right. Highly recommended if you enjoy your own space or having quiet chats and meeting nice folks. Breakfast lacks variety but appreciated for what it was. Seemed like less English speaking travellers were here than any...
