My husband and I stayed in the Fierro Hotel on a recent trip to Buenos Aires and we really loved it. The location is great -- there's access to a subte stop nearby, Palermo Soho and Palermo Viejo are easily walkable. Palermo Hollywood is a bit quieter than Palermo Soho/Palermo Viejo, but there are some really great little cafes and...

How about a room that has a comfortable king sized bed, ample storage, a desk and chair, a couch that you can sit or nap on, a table with two chairs and a sink, fridge and coffee maker? And it's not even crowded. That's the configuration of the superior room. The front desk, may I offer a shout out to...

Fierro Hotel is a wonderful, clean and well run establishment. The rooms and food are a terrific value for the money. If you are not in Buenos Aires on business, Palermo is a fun location to stay. Fierro is a few blocks from the more "hip" secton of Palermo, but still within easy walking distance, and the area around Fierro...

Lovely small hotel with great sized rooms. Room decor is just as the website shows it if not better. Fantastic restaurant also - probably the best dinners I had in BA. The staff in both reception and the restaurant could not have been more helpful, they are really what makes this place great. Only small negative was the with the...

Had a fantastic experience at the Fierro Hotel in Buenos Aires. The staff was professional, courteous and extremely helpful. I was impressed with their perfect English (and embarrassed by my poor Spanish). Extremely knowledgeable on the local area and had fantastic recommendations for restaurants and activities. The rooms were very spacious, extremely clean and modern. The in-room affordable wine selection...

Fierro Hotel is a small modern hotel in the Palmero/Hollywood. The rooms are fairly large with a couch and table. Sliding door/window takes up the whole external wall and opens to a narrow balcony overlooking either the street or rear courtyard. Large shower with rain shower head. Eco Restaurant was excellent if a bit expensive. Nice breakfast with fresh juice...

Kudos to the owner,he has assembled an incredible staff. A property is no better than the people who bring it to life and this place soars. Rarely do I not have an opinion on how to make something better but in this case I just hope it stays the same. Yes, be aware it does not have bath tubs but...

I recently stayed at Hotel Fierro on my travels through Argentina. It was my first time in Palermo Hollywood and I was nicely surprised with the area as well as the hotel. I should add at this point that I had made an error in my booking date and had booked the night before! So when I arrived I confessed...

The Fierro Hotel was a wonderful place to lay our heads for two evenings before starting our trek all over Argentina. The warm, personal and friendly atmosphere was welcoming after a long trip from the USA. Rooms were clean and neat, the food was excellent, the personal service couldn't be beat and the chef and restaurant staff could not have...

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
