Came to Buenos Aires with friends and stayed at Soho Point a little over two weeks. We had a wonderful time. We arrived at about 4:30 in the morning and Mariano was there to greet us and help us in with our luggage. He had also arranged for a cab to pick us up from the airport. The room was...

Stayed for 3 days at the beginning & another 3 at the end of a 17-day holiday in Argentina. Soho Point is an apart-hotel in Palermo. The apartments are lovely, clean, spacious; location is perfect, bang in the middle of Palermo Soho which is surely the coolest part of Buenos Aires to stay in (full of cafes, restaurants & designer...

When I booked the Soho Point, I thought it looked like a very charming place to stay, in a nice area, and I knew nothing about Buenos Aires. It turned out it was the best place, in the best area.. I travel a lot and I have not often been so positively surprised. The place is far better than any...

We stayed in Soho Point for 5 nights in October. We had a fantastic time and have already booked to stay again for 5 nights in December before we fly back to the UK. The rooms themselves are stylish and spacious. The owner of the apartments, Mariano, speaks great English and gave us brilliant tips on things to do in...

Mariano (owner) welcomed us by name before we even stepped inside the main door. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Mariano will make you feel comfortable in the city and provide insight into where you should eat, sightsee and go out. I would definitely stay here again. Reasonable prices for a safe location. When luxury is not a requirement,...

The place is much better than pictured, the location is wonderful and the service superb. But as if that we're not enough to book a long vacation there, Mariano, the owner and, always at your service, host makes the experience go into another dimension. Just to put it bluntly, this place is like being home back in the States. You...

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Effort and love are the two words that inspired me to create the Soho Point back in 2009. This fully equipped studio condominium is formed by 6 spacious and bright units and is located in the heart of Palermo Soho, one of the coolest places in Buenos Aires. My experienced in travelling away from home made me want to create a space where guests could feel warm, just like home. This is how I got the idea of building this special and unique place in Buenos Aires. The Soho Point is not a hotel, but it’s not just an apartment. Soho Point is a new concept in tourism where you are always welcome without feeling stuck in a rigid structure. You will be able to manage your schedule and activities, but at the same time you will always find someone willing to give you some advice, guide you in the city or even help you with any problem that can come up at any time. The Soho Point is in the middle of a popular area so you will find people in the streets 24/7, but this building is designed to give you peace whenever you need it. As soon as you get inside the Soho Point, you will be welcomed by a nice patio full of colourful flowers which guarantee you tranquility and privacy. Around it you will find the 6 units, so each apartment has a pleasant view of the internal patio. All the apartments are brand new and fully-equipped. Each living has a comfortable sofa with a coffee table next to a large window where you can feel the breeze and relax. Then you have a big bed with pure cotton sheets in front of a LCD TV where you will be able to rest in comfort. The kitchen area has all the equipment you will need to prepare quick dishes in case you want to make a home-made meal. The bathroom is also fully-equipped and is decorated with great style. At Soho Point there’s also a cleaning service daily with no extra charge. The Soho Point couldn’t be in a better location. The neighbourhood is one of the trendiest places in Buenos Aires because it is full of restaurants, bars, night clubs, design stores and people from all over the country. So just 2 blocks away from the Soho Point you will be able to meet new people, share your experiences and learn things from the Argentinian culture.Welcome to the Soho Point, Travel and live your own way.Hope to see you soon!
