The perfect Boutique Hotel in Palermo, that's about it. We spent the last night of our Argentinian trip at this beautiful hotel and it could not have been any more perfect. Stylish hotel, room and bathroom. Perfect service and perfect breakfast. Keep up the good job!

Clean, comfortable and convenient location in the Palmero district near many good restaurants and bars. The hospitality and helpfulness of the staff is second to none as evidenced by the cool and calm manner they handled our unexpected arrival. Without the blink of an eye we received first-class service to accommodate our first night in BA. Everyone went out of...

We stayed one night while transiting through BA. Compared to other boutique hotels we have stayed at in BA, this one doesn't compare in terms of a design wow factor, but it is still nice and would stay here again based on price and location - Palermo Hollywood Pros- Great location close to cafes and nightlife New Helpful staff Nice...

The Ilum Experience is an experience not to be missed. From the moment we arrived the staff could not be more helpful or pleasant. Often boutique hotels are more style than substance but this hotel has both. The reception areas were stylish. the bedrooms very comfortable, the breakfast was beautifully presented but also with good ingredients and fresh. All the...

We absolutely loved Ilum! We weren't in the hotel much but this quaint boutique hotel def served its purpose. The price point was perfect and the staff was very informative and friendly. The location was fun and had a ton of really great restaurants nearby. What I loved most about Ilum is that we were among Porteños. We didnt feel...

Spent 4 days before cruise at Ilum Experience Home Hotel. In a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to many good restaurants. Very modern decor with glass, stone and waterfalls. Unique multi-story "landscaped wall" at rear of property with shrubs and ivy. Pool and surrounding deck was under renovation and not available. Free WIFI worked very good in room. Free breakfast...

The hotel has lovely decorations and a beautiful vertical garden. Our room was spacious with a jetted tube and a rainwater shower head. They provide shampoo, conditioner, mouthwash, lotion, bathrobes, slippers, shower cap, and some tissues. The bed was a medium. I usually like a hard bed and this was softer than I prefer, but not too soft. It was...

We stayed at this hotel in buenos Aires for one night being in transit from London to Santiago. The hotel is in a lovely part of town, Palermo Hollywood, which is quiet and seems quite residential although within easy walking distance of some great restaurants. The place itself has a tranquil feel with some classy touches like a glass elevator...

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
