Buenos Aires was my first international travel experience, and I spent two weeks at Ada and Valentyn's Bed and Breakfast..i couldn't have asked for a better experience. By the end of the trip, I felt so welcomed and so comfortable that if I had decided to just move to Buenos Aires permanently, I think it would have been perfectly fine....

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! We had such a wonderful stay at this B&B. Ada & Valentyn were incredibly helpful and kind-making suggestions on places to eat, visit, etc. Our flight out of BA was cancelled and they allowed us to come back at a moments notice for another night's stay. Valentyn also assisted us in...

I can't recommend this place enough! Ada and Valentyn were wonderful hosts and so helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. The hotel is in a great location and remarkably quiet, the rooms are a good size and absolutely spotless. Breakfast was delicious, I only wish I could have eaten more. Ada and Valentyn took all the guests to...

Ada and Valentyn are absolutely lovely people! Staying at B&B Ada and Valentyn, upon reflection, was my favorite thing about Buenos Aires! I stayed with them for a week and took tango lessons from Ada with Valentyn as a partner. Valentyn speaks perfect English and Ada is expressive enough that you understand each other very well! Among B&Bs, the styles...

I don’t usually use clichés like “Home away from home,” but that’s exactly how I felt at this B & B. It was a sanctuary in the heart of the city – extremely quiet, peaceful, clean, and serene. You will NOT find another place this wonderful at this price in Buenos Aires. I suppose it’s not for everyone – some...

As you walk through the street level door and down the long corridor, you are transported away from the hustle of the city into another place altogether. This place deserves all the great reviews. Ada and Valentyn are a lovely, hospitable couple, who really know how to run a b&b. Our room was huge, the ceilings must be 12 feet...

This is our first ever review on Trip Advisor. We have made an exception here for Ada and Valentyn. The accommodation is perfectly positioned to access the heart of Buenos Aires and the subway. Our room was clean and spacious, the breakfasts varied and plentiful. As a guest you are treated as family and learn more than a tourist brochure will...

we stayed here for 4 nights. Very clean and cozy and the house was cold enough at night that we don't even need a fan. It's an old house with wooden floor, so just need to be extra quiet during the night to prevent disturbing other guests. good location. walking distance to plaza de mayo and san telmo, also easy...

Me and my fiancé traveled to BA in december 2012 and stayed for almost three weeks. The plan was to stay in different parts of the city and get to know it as well as possible in three weeks. First we stayed in Palermo Soho, then in Microcentro with Ada and Valentyn and then in San Telmo. The other two...

I recently had the privileged of spending a few days with Ada and Valentyn at their cozy BsAs bed and breakfast. The B&B is super conveniently located near Plaza De Mayo and is walking distance to just about EVERYTHING, including all major bus and subway lines. This location is super convenient, the rooms super clean and the hosts, nothing short...

Staying in Montserrat

Neighbourhood Profile
Montserrat
As part of the historic quarter of Buenos Aires, Montserrat is defined by the historical events that took place there and the landmarks that have stood the test of time. The Plaza de Mayo is at the center of this connection to history: countless public demonstrations have passed through this square, going back to the May Revolution of 1810. Walking the streets of Montserrat allows us to imagine what Buenos Aires may have looked like in the past: the Cabildo takes us back to the late 16th century, while the Palacio Barolo and the traditional cafés carry us to the early 20th. Nowadays, the neighbourhood is inundated every day by office workers, buses, and taxis; still, the cobblestones, narrow sidewalks, and subway stations from the 1910s remind us that we are surrounded by history everywhere we look.
