I don’t usually use clichés like “Home away from home,” but that’s exactly how I felt at this B & B. It was a sanctuary in the heart of the city – extremely quiet, peaceful, clean, and serene. You will NOT find another place this wonderful at this price in Buenos Aires. I suppose it’s not for everyone – some...

As you walk through the street level door and down the long corridor, you are transported away from the hustle of the city into another place altogether. This place deserves all the great reviews. Ada and Valentyn are a lovely, hospitable couple, who really know how to run a b&b. Our room was huge, the ceilings must be 12 feet...

This is our first ever review on Trip Advisor. We have made an exception here for Ada and Valentyn. The accommodation is perfectly positioned to access the heart of Buenos Aires and the subway. Our room was clean and spacious, the breakfasts varied and plentiful. As a guest you are treated as family and learn more than a tourist brochure will...

we stayed here for 4 nights. Very clean and cozy and the house was cold enough at night that we don't even need a fan. It's an old house with wooden floor, so just need to be extra quiet during the night to prevent disturbing other guests. good location. walking distance to plaza de mayo and san telmo, also easy...

Me and my fiancé traveled to BA in december 2012 and stayed for almost three weeks. The plan was to stay in different parts of the city and get to know it as well as possible in three weeks. First we stayed in Palermo Soho, then in Microcentro with Ada and Valentyn and then in San Telmo. The other two...

I recently had the privileged of spending a few days with Ada and Valentyn at their cozy BsAs bed and breakfast. The B&B is super conveniently located near Plaza De Mayo and is walking distance to just about EVERYTHING, including all major bus and subway lines. This location is super convenient, the rooms super clean and the hosts, nothing short...

The hosts are welcoming and will go out of their way to ensure that you enjoy your stay. Located in the old part of the city, this establishment is good spot if you're keen on seeing the sights and major attractions in the area (like plaza de mayo). It's also near the bus stop if you want to travel around....

Next to Plaza de Mayo in the San Telmo neighbourhood, Ada & Valentyn B&B is in a very central and handy location. The B&B is in an beautiful traditional building with great rooms and high ceilings. We thought that the rooms were good value for money. Very comfortable, spacious and with air-con. You have to share the bathroom but we...

Staying with Ada & Valentyn is not only great because you live in a wonderful and beautiful old house in the heart of BA. Its not just great because the place has charme and is extremely tidy and clean. Its not the excellent healthy breakfast that makes it unique. Staying in Montserrat

Neighbourhood Profile
Montserrat
As part of the historic quarter of Buenos Aires, Montserrat is defined by the historical events that took place there and the landmarks that have stood the test of time. The Plaza de Mayo is at the center of this connection to history: countless public demonstrations have passed through this square, going back to the May Revolution of 1810. Walking the streets of Montserrat allows us to imagine what Buenos Aires may have looked like in the past: the Cabildo takes us back to the late 16th century, while the Palacio Barolo and the traditional cafés carry us to the early 20th. Nowadays, the neighbourhood is inundated every day by office workers, buses, and taxis; still, the cobblestones, narrow sidewalks, and subway stations from the 1910s remind us that we are surrounded by history everywhere we look.
