I was a little apprehensive staying in an apartment instead of a hotel during our two week trip to Argentina. Best decision of the trip. We checked-in/out multiple times as we made side trips to El Calafate and Iguazu. Mathias, took great care of us. He arranged airport pick-ups / drop-offs using prepaid taxi services so that there was no...

The location is in a very quiet part of Recoleta, albeit somewhat of a far walk from areas of interests to many tourists. The project itself actually consists of a couple of what appear to be recently remodeled 5 story buildings. My late night check-in just before midnight was uneventful as the night clerk found my reservation without difficulty and...

I travelled to Argentina to visit family but did not want to stay in a hotel as I prefer having my own place, including kitchen, when travelling. After doing a lot of research, and with the help of my cousins, I selected Le Batiment. I am very glad I did. The location is excellent, in a fairly safe area of...

I have been in Le Batiment 15-20.1.2015 and 30-31.1.2015 with wife and 2 children (3 and 5 years). If we travel very important for us are : cleaning and service. Le Batiment have both on perfect level. Rooms are very nice and clean. Beds are confortable (double bed is so big that we could sleep there whole family:-)). If you...

We arrived early into Buenos Aires after 24 hours of travel. They kindly let us check in by 10 am at no extra charge. We also arranged to have them pick us up at the airport. They charged us $36 US for the ride. Well worth it not to have to navigate weird traffic. I think this the going rate...

Le Batiment is an apartment-hotel with about 14 small apartments that are functional and clean. It is located almost at the junction of three neighbourhoods that you will want to visit and within walking distance (15-20 min) of many interesting places. The subway is about three blocks away. I have two problems with this apart-hotel: the shower has little water...

The apartment rented was really nice. Spotless and I felt immediately at home. The front desk was helpful. It is located a bit off the beaten path, a walk to Subways... however... it is totally central. In the middle of Palermo, Recoleta and not far from downtown. A small jaunt to a subway. Three blocks from Santa Fe which was...

I hv spent 5 nights at Le batiment. The staff was helpful. Due to flight delay, I have arrived Buenos Aires early morning and the staff was nice to allow us to have an early check-in. The aparment was nice and spacious. I will probably stay there again in my future trip to buenos aires.

I stayed there this past January and it was a wonderful experience. After spending one night in a crappy hotel in Palermo I was so happy that they were able to accommodate me immediately. The place is extremely clean (toilets are disinfected before you arrive and sealed.. i don't know about you but this was a WINNING point) and the...

I stayed at "Le Batiment" apartment this past July on two different occasions for a total of four nights and it was a very good experience. What you see! is what you get!, its exactly as it appears on their web-site. Many other hotels can't say the same thing. The apartments looked newly remodel with granite counter tops and marble...

Staying in Recoleta

Neighbourhood Profile
Characterised by the French-style mansions which are the legacy of its aristocratic past, Recoleta is the true “Paris of the South.” Walking around this neighbourhood is an experience like no other in Buenos Aires: its streets are lined with elegant apartment buildings, exclusive boutiques, and former mansions turned into high-end hotels and embassies, which exude an alluring air of sophistication and class. You'll also find a rich cultural scene centred on the National Museum of Fine Arts, the National Library, and the Recoleta Cultural Center; as well as some great shopping spots, like the Buenos Aires Design Mall with an artists' fair set up in Plaza Francia every weekend.
