We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and thought it a very good hotel in a super location. Our room overlooked the Recoleta Cemetery and with all rooms having a balcony we thought this an ideal location. There a many bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk but we liked the small kitchenette in the room as we had already eaten out on many occasions so it was nice to have a bottle of wine and something simple to eat on the balcony one night.
Would highly recommend this as base for a visit to BA.

I spent 2 nights at the Sileo with my wife. The hotel is in a good location, looks at the back of Recoleta cemetery, half a block from many restaurants, 2 blocks from the Recoleta Mall. Staff is ok but looked tired, easy checkin. Our room looked on the back, which I prefer because I never understood the beauty of a cemetery view, and the back is quieter. Rooms are well appointed, nice bathroom, good and quiet A/C , small kitchenette that we did not use. Wifi a bit iffy. Bed was very comfortable, room had both a desk and a table, so very spacious. The lobby tries to be modern chic, but fails , it looks odd and small. Breakfast that was included was only ok. I prefer breakfast in the many neighborhood cafes. I would stay there again.

We stayed at the Sileo Hotel over five nights prior to a cruise. We were in a quiet neighborhood in a a very convenient location. It overlooked the Ricoleta Cemetery, there were local markets and bakeries nearby, as well as some decent restaurants. A small continental complimentary breakfast was around the corner at a friendly coffee shop. A large shopping mall is close. Walk to the other side of the cemetery and across a green space, to the first stop of the hop on/hop off bus. Our room was pleasant, with kitchenette and good sized bathroom. A room overlooking the cemetery is extra. Instead, go to the top floor- little balcony and tiny swimming pool and sit outside to look down into the cemetery after going though it- a wonderful view! The staff was great and even arranged for a one day tour of Iguazu Falls at a much cheaper price. The staff went out of their way to help us. It's by no means a luxury hotel, but between the helpful staff, location, and room, a nice way to see BA.

Kept our bags safely for two days. Lady at desk very friendly and helpful. Security good. No breakfast on site but received a voucher to a restaurant down the block with traditional fare that we enjoyed. Bar with beer and wine. Great view from rooftop. Spacious, beautiful room with a balcony, very modern bathroom and small kitchenette if needed

This is billed as an apartment hotel. As a regular hotel, it was quite nice. All the usual amenities were good to excellent. There's a small sauna and exercise room on the top floor. The staff was helpful and pleasant. The room was spacious. It's well located, being across. the street feom the famous Recolata cemetery. There is a small grocery store on the same block.

However, as an apartment, this hotel is minimal. We try to stay in apartment hotels when we are staying anyplace for more than 2 or 3 days, so I have stayed in several over the past 5 years. Sileo was the poorest equipped of any. They didn't have a coffee pot. They didn't have salt and pepper. They didn't have a knife besides the 2 table knives, so it would have been difficult to even cut a loaf of bread. And so on.

In sum, if you want a nice, well run and well located hotel, I can recommend Sileo. If you really want an apartment hotel equipped to allow you to cook a complete meal, look for someplace else.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is really nice, across the street from the Recoleta Cemetery and within easy walking distance to many restaurants and sights. Recoleta is considered one of the safest and most upscale areas in the sprawling city. We were a party of three; the third person sleeps on a sleep sofa. Although it is one room, there is a partial divider that houses the TVs between the two areas. Our balcony was huge, a nice place to sit, have a drink and overlook the cemetery. There was also a small kitchen area and table with chairs. The best aspect of this property was the staff. They were all wonderful!! Thank you for your assistance in so many ways and your kindness. You definitely enhanced our stay in Buenos Aires.

This is a lovely hotel with a lovely staff. Most of the staff spoke English which helped our trip go smoothly. They went above and beyond when my partner got hurt and they provided first aid items. The rooms with the view of the cemetery are great. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The restaurant where they provide breakfast is very good (no hotel food, it’s an actual cafe!). The location is great and very walkable to many areas of Recoleta. There were some small things, fixtures and such, that needed repair but overall it was a great stay. If you at going to Recoleta I would highly recommend staying here.

Great room to spend our last night in South America. Get the penthouse. Huge balcony overlooking the Recoleta Cemetary. Walking distance to parks, restaurants, and bars. Only provide vouchers for breakfast in restaurant next door but there are other options close by. Helpful staff, comfortable bed, mini kitchen for those staying longer and want to store food or do some cooking.

We were at hotel Sileo for 4 nights in December-2019. Our room was fantastic and the balcony faced the Recoleta cemetery.

Location: excellent. Very easy to hail cabs and very close to a lot of cool eating joints. There is also a mall close by where we converted USD to pesos.

Hospitality: this was easily our favorite hotel during the South America vacation. The entire staff spoke fluent English, they were super nice and took great care of us. They provided us with detailed directions on good stuff to explore in the city. Special mention for Miguel. If Sileo management is reading this review: please give him a promotion!!

We will certainly stay at Sileo if we visit Buenos Aires again.

The location of the hotel was great. It was quiet, and within walking distance to Palermo and the city center (if you don't mind a 25 minute walk, which I don't).
There is a pool, and a breakfast, but I did not not use either of them The room came with a kitchenette so I would have a quick breakfast in my room every morning.
The staff was very helpful, answered all my questions, and put up with my high school Spanish.

Mine was, but I guess it depends on what type of package you arrange on booking. It’s a buffet breakfast and was good.

We were on the 3rd floor with the balcony. I'm not sure if it was a deluxe room or not, my guess would be yes. The gal at the front desk speaks English, you might call as well? There are interior rooms that would not look out over the cemetery. The view is really nice.
