All in this hotel is perfect! Charming building and decoration, comfortable rooms, very kind services and complete breakfast, great location! I've enjoyed every minute in this place and certainly will come back!
Out of the 20+ hotels we had during our travels in Argentina, this has been the worst experience. It seemed like everything that could go wrong, did go wrong. The checking in and checking out took more than an hour. We did the booking via Booking.com and communicated with the hotel via Booking.com for an extra room for one night. When arriving at the reception, I explained 4 times what was needed and what the agreed price was. Somehow Analia from the reception was not able to enter the communication on Booking.com (although I saw personnel could enter the communication at check out). When we received the room keys after an hour, I got appointed a room that was occupied by someone else. When a new room key was received, the key wasn't working. My patience was really tested that moment. The next days, something was going wrong again. The room key was again not working (limited in time somehow) and we needed to explain a new staff member again the set up of our stay. Not sure why, but it was not noted/registered wrongly in the system. Although are laundry was delivered after one day, we were missing pieces. Turns out, when asking the reception about it, our missing pieces were just at the reception with our room number on it. Because we didn't had to much confidence anymore in what was going on at the reception, we wanted every detail about the invoice. It took 1.5 hour to check out. I never experienced this in my life. I lost it after an hour (still being polite), because the reception staff (Carlos if I remember well) was contradicting himself about the amount that needed to be paid (incl. versus excl. tax). Carlos remained friendly. On top of that, they asked multiple times for a review on the Booking.com communicator for a review (see picture attached). Apparently, it is funny to call me by a different name, even when you say you are not "Tessa". In my opinion, some people from the reception are incompetent, resulting in an unsatisfied stay in this hotel.…
Hotel was beautiful but rooms were dated and had foul odor of sewage and armpit they have a literally open drains in shower and next to the toilet you can smell everything it was disgusting unfortunately, I wasn’t able to cancel room reservations since I made them here in the US and they only give you a certain amount of days before arriving to cancel but once you check in it’s too late to cancel. it was very unfortunate since we were there for 11 days and we had to deal with the bad odor . Like I said at the end all we were able to do is open windows and buy deodorizer spray from nearby grocery store. Staff is friendly breakfast is good however never changes it gets old fast nothing fancy Carton scramble, eggs, cold cuts, cheeses, fruit Red apples, green apples, toast, juice, water, and coffee and cereal same every day…
I liked pretty much everything about the hotel, but I'll cite the most outstanding things as the friendly/helpful front desk staff, the clean and recently renovated room, and the excellent breakfast buffet.
What a beautiful building! And the shower was wonderful, water pressure was great, comfortable room, beautiful architecture! Classic beauty of a hotel.. Very friendly staff, best bellhop ever. We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay.
That was an incredible experience. The building is historical, following a Paris-like architecture, and is full of art. The rooms got renovated, so they are pretty new and cozy. Large bathroom with bathtub. Cable TV, Wifi, and an excellent and vast breakfast
Savoy hotel is a historical palace, very beautiful lobby. Very central location, walking distance to most of the tourist sites, and the taxi is very cheap, and next to many convenient stores, drug stores, and restaurants. The room is spacious and very nice. The breakfast offers a wide variety with delicious food. The service is also very good. Look no further. This is the best hotel in Buenos Aires!
Breakfast was outstanding. Restaurant had great cappuccino. Stylish nice old hotel in very convenient location. One block from free walking tour and capital area. Beds comfortable and rooms quiet. Recommend this hotel.
Stayed there on 3 occasions during this month. Central location. Reception staff excellent. Breakfast range excellent. Restaurant staff Rodriguez,Nancy great. Well patronised Downsides: Can do well by providing Water Kettles in rooms Corridors, floor lounges lights are dull
This is a very stately and elegant hotel. It is draped in history. Evita, Einstein, etc. Dinner was good. Breakfast was also nice. We had corner room 211. Incredible!!! This was during the World Cup. The balcony swept around the building!! Brian was exceptional.
