Hello, we stayed at the Sheraton Libertador for Christmas 2011 and found the hotel, overall, simply as Average. A few details: Location: If you are a tripadvisor user, the location is pretty good. Most of the reviewed restaurants and activities are near this hotel. That said, BA's wonderful Palermo district is about 20-30min away by collectivo and the capitol district...

We found this place to be very nice, clean, very comfortable sleep and centrally located. It was worth the $110/night we paid. We enjoyed the breakfast although found it to be a little expensive because it was not included. The pool and sauna area was great!!! We completely enjoyed our stay and they even allowed us a late check out...

We switched from another hotel (which we thought was past its prime) to this hotel after our Holland America cruise. Turned out, this is also the hotel that several of the cruise lines use for pre/post hotel stays so the hotel on Dec. 20 was extremely busy, which made the elevators really slow. But in any event, the hotel is...

I enjoyed a 6 day stay here in the Microcenter (business center) during my first visit to BA, 2nd visit to Argentina. My room was very modern, clean and comfortable. Extremely helpful courteous staff throughout the hotel. Very good buffet breakfast with the best maître d I have come across in my world travels. White linen tablecloth tables, attentive friendly...

I've stayed here twice (2001 and 2011), both times I was quite happy with the hotel. The staff was friendly and courtious the location was pretty decent, albeit not the best location for using the subway (a couple of blocks away). There are plenty of cafe's nearby to find something to eat. An all around great experience, next time I...

Stayed here for one week, and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The entire hotel was immaculate; the staff was friendly, extremely service oriented and spoke English well; and the free internet access at the business center (four desktop terminals) was much appreciated. My daughter loved going downstairs at night to use the business center and sip cappucinos...she also thought the...

Stayed at this hotel at the start and end of our Argentine tour. We found it to be the standard you would expect of a Sheraton, pretty much ticked all the boxes. Clean, comfortable, central, with gym and pool. The computers with free internet access in the lobby were a plus. They needed to get some of the bugs out...

Centrally located (in Microcenter)- one block from pedestrianized Florida Ave. From the hotel, we walked all over the City's Center, and then to Recoleta, San Telmo, Monserrat, Puerto Madero and others. Short taxi ride to La Boca and Palermo. Clean and well-appointed rooms. Good housekeeping staff. We had one minor problem with the toilet. But the front desk promptly sent up...

Neighbourhood Profile
San Nicolas
Immersed in the sound of honking horns and the footsteps of busy office workers, the Microcentro area of San Nicolás is where visitors will encounter the true hustle and bustle of Buenos Aires, walking down streets lined with office buildings and banks. The financial district is well-known for its vibrant atmosphere and unstoppable rhythm during office hours. After dark, the hubbub and migrates to Corrientes Ave., where theatre lovers might start their evening at a play and end it in one of the many traditional pizzerias nearby.
