The hotel is CLOSED! I arrived at the hotel and was told that the hotel is closing tomorrow so that we need to go to another hotel. Even they knew they were closing 2 days before our arrival, they didn't notify us. The receptionist was RUDE, saying that "we can't do anything, we won't be here tomorrow anyway". They didn't...

I reserved this Hotel via booking.com and I got a good price with advance booking. Hotel is in the middle of Recoleta and not far from metro. It's possible with a good walk to reach Palermo quarter on foot. Staff is honest and kind. Good value for this comfortable hotel.

Very nice staff for an overnight stay. Hotel needs a major update though. The A/C unit in my daughter's triple room was leaking so the manager called to put a towel under the leak. There were lipstick stains on the pillow cases. Showers took about 10-15 minutes for the water to go from ice cold to scalding hot. Not sure...

The location is good and so is the price. The staff is nice. Whowever, this hotel needs bathroom renovations. You can hardly open the bathroom dors, as the space is too small. Towels and sheets are old and not so white anymore. The room had a nice space and was cleaned everyday. Poor breakfast.

Booked two rooms here for an overnight stay for a small group of us. After a long flight we arrived to be told that they had no rooms available despite having our booking. Some sort of computer error apparently. Doesn't wash. We booked this months in advance as part of a wider South America trip. We were rebooted into another...

I read some reviews, but I thought it was just an impression so, thinking about the extra points of a great location, I tried it anyway. It is not a 4 stars hotel, my room was outdated and in a very bad condition, especially the bath: the bathtub was damaged, the ceramic broken in some parts, damp walls. About the...

Two of us stayed here early in December, after a cruise. We only needed one night, but we arrived early and left late (after check out0 and it was no problem . The front desk clerk kept the bags, and was very helpful with advice and arranging a taxi to the airport. The whole place was clean, and silver spray...

We booked this hotel for a stayover between flights. We didn't expect amazing quality for what we paid, but the hotel room we stayed in kind of looked like it was a room that is used for other reasons if you know what we mean... It was clean-ish nonetheless but a bit worn down. Our door didn't really close unless...

I was and am staying at the Unique Elegance for 9 days. The first impression was wow because the lobby and the rooms really do look beautiful, nice colour contrasts and art work as well as intriguing furniture. If you spend only one night i would recomend this hotel but more than that no. First the towels are dirty-stained and...

I have to tell you, this hotel has some of the best workers. The front desk staff is super friendly and they'll help you find any tourist attraction or neighborhood as best as they can. At many times, the went above and beyond..Example: one of the people at the desk explained to us what the app whatsapp is. Another thing...

Staying in Recoleta

Neighbourhood Profile
Characterised by the French-style mansions which are the legacy of its aristocratic past, Recoleta is the true “Paris of the South.” Walking around this neighbourhood is an experience like no other in Buenos Aires: its streets are lined with elegant apartment buildings, exclusive boutiques, and former mansions turned into high-end hotels and embassies, which exude an alluring air of sophistication and class. You'll also find a rich cultural scene centred on the National Museum of Fine Arts, the National Library, and the Recoleta Cultural Center; as well as some great shopping spots, like the Buenos Aires Design Mall with an artists' fair set up in Plaza Francia every weekend.
