Rooms are good and spacey, bathroom is great. So far so good. Air conditioning did not really work well and my minibar did not get replenished. Only coke and water in the minibar at a hotel of such standard is certainly not what you would expect. Breakfast was great but very expensive but fantastic variety. Everything is way overpriced but...

Not only was this my first stay at the hotel, it was my first visit to Buenos Aires. From the front the hotel does not look that special. But get inside and you realise you are at a special hotel. Half the hotel is a modern block, but the back of the hotel contains a very special building, a converted...

The best experience is the Staff and Service. Always very friendly, professional and great human skills. The Staff and employees make the big difference in a 5-star Hotel and the Four Seasons Buenos Aires is superb for its people. I really feel like being at home.

After a long flight it was so refreshing to check into the 4 Seasons and even better to be upgraded to a suite (book and pay with American Express and you receive a room upgrade, late checkout, breakfast and a meal credit). The room style is classic and even though we prefer modern/minimalist we could appreciate the quality. The location...

As with most business hotels, the Four Seasons in BA, does not disappoint. Courteous staff, impeccable facilities and a very nice mix of modern and classic. The conference facilities have a very classic/European look to them while the rooms are more modern, yet comfortable. Does come at a premium cost though, as this is not a "budget" stay.

The Lobby is a gem, with wonderful decoration which is in harmony with aspects of life in Argentinian. The staff go out of their way to make sure the guests needs are seen to. I have no hesitation to recommend this hotel to my friends in the future.

Why would a five star hotel charge for in room coffee pods. Terrible. Otherwise, hotel felt like a three star expierence. I would stay at the Palace or the Grand Hyatt. These facilities are more classy.

Staying in Retiro

Neighbourhood Profile
Retiro
Exquisite palaces and luxurious apartment buildings combine with art galleries and exclusive boutiques to make Retiro the perfect spot for those who enjoy sophistication. However, the non-stop foot traffic to and from Retiro train and bus terminals, accompanied by the myriad of trucks leaving and arriving at the port, mean this neighbourhood is never truly at rest. One minute you are walking down a street dotted with ornate mansions and luxurious shop windows and the next you find yourself surrounded by a sea of people racing to catch their train or bus. It is this juxtaposition of never-ending comings and goings and quiet, elegant luxury that defines Retiro, as well as Buenos Aires, a city where sharp contrasts are all around.
