The hotel was clean and well located. We stayed as the COVID 19 pandemic was ramping up. Hotel staff were cleaning and taking extra precautions. It was quiet at night. Breakfast was not available and a voucher for 10% off at the coffee shop across the street was given. There is no airport shuttle, but they will call a taxi for you.
We stayed at Up Recoleta Hotel only one night, Feb. 28, 2020. It was the perfect location for us, since we were taking a cruise from the harbor the following day. There was a lift to take our suitcases upstairs to our room. The room was fine and quiet. The WIFI in the room worked well. The breakfast consisted of coffee and a muffin or something like that. We were able to walk to the Cemetery to see the tomb of Evita. It was about 6 blocks away. However,we had trouble finding a bank to change money. Overall, we were very satisfied with our one day stay at this hotel and would recommend it to everyone needing a room in this area of Buenos Aires.
Exactly what we needed, great employees, super neighbourhood. Did not mind at all that there’s no breakfast, restaurant nearby made the best croissant. Would definitely go back. Try to get the room with balcony, felt like at home.
It’s always an unknown when booking in another country. We were pleased with our overnight stay. It’s simple but met our expectations for the price. Close to AEP airport which was our goal. Used Uber to get there.
I stayed here for 9 nights in January 2020 while I was in Buenos Aires and had a wonderful time. Great location, quiet street, close to museums, parks, restaurants, cafes and shops. A comfortable bed, modern decor, good WiFi and helpful staff. A big thank you to Gabriela in particular. Very good value for money. I highly recommend this hotel Jonathan (Elford)
